Wilderness Lodge help

We are staying at WLV (one bedroom) and other family members are staying at the WL Resort. Does anyone know what to request to get our rooms close together so that we can meet "in the middle" or be in close walking distance of each other. I'd love to find a map of the entire WL area. Thanks for any help!

If the folks stayting in the Lodge request the wing closest to the Villas, you will be about maybe 4 minutes walkling time closer.
Assuming either of you go from each others rooms thru the Lobby of the main lodge. If I remember, there is an side exit out of the Lodge wing that would make the trip to the Villas shorter, depending on where in the wing the rooms are located.
Even if your rooms are as far away from each other as you could get, it would still be only a 10 minute (brisk) walk. Meeting in the Lobby of the Lodge would be the "Middle" for most room combos.


Unless you have one of those "you can't get there from here unless you take a bus" room's.

See if they can request a balcony room facing the Villas and you request a room facing the quiet pool!! You may be able to see each other if up on the higher floors.

You could always meet in the walkway (covered) between the two near the arcade!!

You can get a bird's eye view of the Wilderness Lodge Resort and VWL from this link: http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/wlmap.html I don't think it would make too much difference where the rooms are located if you're interested in meeting in a central location. You could meet in the main lodge lobby, in front of the Mercantile shop, etc. I just walked the route from the main lodge lobby to the villas lobby and it only takes 5 minutes. Anywhere along that route would be fine.

Regardless of where the rooms are, meeting in the lobby of the WL is a great choice. If one or more parties are late, I can think of worse things to do than sitting in this lobby and enjoying the atmosphere.

JonHM, Thanks for finding that problem. I should have made sure that link was right before submitting it. I did go back and edit the link just in case people are still trying to access it from my post.
