Have they all been renovated? I have a baby with breathing issues, should I call to make sure I get a room that has been renovated?

I have asthma and was told the former smoking rooms were on the 6th floor.

Enjoy your overnight st WL :flower3:

I remember a post saying the smoking rooms were on the third and fifth floors of the south wing side of the building (I remember feeling very bad for the people on the 4th floor). If you request a room on the north side, you shouldn't have a problem (plus you'll be closer the boat).

Check the first page of the WL info thread - the information was there last time I checked!

Found this quote on an old thread - not much help, really:

" All smoking rooms are located on the North Wing on the 6th
floor(but this could have changed)"

Sorry, could not be more help...we want to definitely avoid former smoking rooms!

I would say to avoid the former smoking rooms at all costs. We just had 2 former smoking rooms at Coronado, and they were horrible. I even asked at checkin, if they were former smoking rooms, and was told "I don't know." Yeah, right! LOL. We asked to be moved as soon as we got into them, and they moved us immediately. The CM said everyone who got these rooms asked to be moved. (do not allow them to come spray, or use electronic air cleaners, they do not help that much).

We were moved, all went well after that, but they really need to strip those rooms down, replace everything, repaint, etc.

The former smoking rooms are on the 6th floor north wing.....I stayed there with DH who smokes a couple of trips ago. Not sure how they are now....but if they are cleaned some of them offer a great view of Wishes!

I can tell you that I had I got placed in a very smelly smoking room, on either the second or third floor, facing the inside courtyard. This was back in '99, but I know for sure it wasn't as high up as the 6th floor.

The view was to die for, but it was the smell that about killed me.

I asked this question on the main WL thread, but didn't get an answer. Has anyone stayed in the 6th floor North wing lately that can report back if the rooms are refurbed and how they are?

My '07 Passporter says Floors 3 & 5 of the south side are/were smoking. I think the next time I call and make a payment I will request a room that has never been smoking. I am ultra-sensitive to smoke...I guess I could just request a room on the north side!
