Has anyone stayed in a WL deluxe room? I was just looking at the room diagram, and it looks great!

Also, for anyone that has stayed there, what was the best rate you ever got? We'll be there during value season.

TIA!

I stayed in one backk in 1997 at rack rate which was $375. I think it is one of the better deals on Disney Prroperty. The suite is not large but it is layed out nicely. There were only 3 adults so it was not crowded. I loved it. When you look at the floor plan it looks very crowded with furniture but it feels more roomy than it looks. The floor plan also has the wet bar near the entrance. Ours was next to the french doors between the living room and the bedroom. The french doors are glass with sheer curtains, There are a lot of windows in the suite which I liked. The little balcony off the bedroom was not really usable. We did sit on the balcony off of the living room though. The Deluxe rooms are located at the very ends of the wings facing the lake. One side has many, many trees so the lake view is quite obstructed. The other side has better views though the lower floor suites have trees and shrubbery blocking the lake. There are a few of theese rooms half way down one wing near the waterfall. We had one of these and had a great view.

Thanks for the info!

Did they charge you extra for the third adult, or was it free since it wasn't a standard room?

Yes. We were charged an extra $25 per night for the third adult. but it was still worth it. :)
