Wilderness Lodge Christmas tree ?

Just returned from 7 nights at the WL - I am absolutely in love! I can't wait to return. The lobby is amazing! I was just curious - I've read many posts about the awesome Christmas decorations there and seen pictures of the tree in the lobby at Xmas - any one know how big the tree actually is? How do they get it in there?

We have been at WL at Christmas and the tree is AWESOME
They put it right in the middle of the lobby. It goes WAY up. The tree is not real, and it is assembled by pieces in the wee hours when no one is around. At least that's what a CM told us. WL is a WDW Christmas highlight.

Having stayed at the Wilderness lodge during my past two Holiday-season trips, I have to agree that the WL is just magical at this time of year. There's nothing like sitting in that huge, gorgeous lobby, looking at the tree that just seems to go on forever (although, truth be told, there are big trees everywhere in the World at this time of year... including the massive but a little-too-fancy-for-my-taste tree at the Grand Floridian). One of the things that makes the WL tree so different is the decorations... which include tee-pee's and little wooden horses. It's really just a sight to behold. If I can find my pictures, I'll try and post one!

There's absolutely nothing like the Wilderness Lodge at Christmas. The huge tree, beautiful decorations, the fireplace surrounded by rocking chairs, and the music!

On our second stay at the WL several years ago, we were given a room on the 6th floor overlooking the lobby. We could open our door and look eye-level at the top of the tree. SPECTACULAR is an understatement.

It's so big that it has moose antlers for ornaments! LOL

I used the Wilderness Lodge theme for our Christmas tree last year (on a much smaller scale, of course) and loved the way it looked!
