Wilderness Lodge Cabins

Are these a part of the Disney Vacation Club, or can you book them as you would a room in the Wilderness Lodge?

You may be referring to the Cabins at Ft Wilderness, which is part of the campground. Anyone can book these. They sleep 6 people.

or you may be referring to the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, which are part of the DVC. Anyone can book these also, but I believe DVC members get first chance at them.

Oh, thanks for the info. I was thinking of the Ft. Wilderness cabins. But I also didn't realize that anyone could rent the Villas. Does that have to go through the rent/trade board, or does the Wilderness lodge rent vacant DVC Villas direct?

Wilderness Lodge does not rent the DVC villas, Disney reservations does. They have access to a certain percentage of the DVC inventory to rent to nonmembers.

You can also check the rent/trade board but this is a private agreement between 2 people and not affliated with Disney in anyway. Bargains can be had for stays during stays from Sunday-Thursday night. Friday and Saturday are more expensive due to the point difference for weekends.
