Wilderness Lodge Bike Rental times...

Could someone please tell me or tell me where to find the times for renting bikes at WL? We have reservations at Fort Wilderness for breakfast one day and I thought it would be fun to rent a surrey bike to travel over.

Besides, I could use the excercise after hitting the breakfast buffet!

they are over by the boat dock. You can get bikes and surrey bikes.

we just did the surrey bike this past Dec.

The only problem with this plan is that you will continue to pay for the bike while you're eating breakfast. I really wish they had one-way rentals. I would love to bike over to FW, check the bike in over there, then have breakfast and boat or walk back or even rent again and ride back. I did ask about this once and was told it could not be done.

Yup, we understand that we'll have to pay for the bikes during our "vittles" time but that's okay. I'm just trying to find out if WL rental place will be open in time for us to rent and rideto FW. Yes, it would be nice if they had one way rentals, I agree.

I found a note on allears that the Teton Boat and Bike Rental opens at 8am for bikes and 10am for boats. Here's a link to that info, just scroll down the page a bit: http://allears.net/acc/faq_wlv.htm

you can do an all day bike rental.

It might be cheaper than renting it by the hour if you're going to keep it during breakfast.
