Wilderness Lodge beds???

How are the beds at the Wilderness Lodge? We just stayed at Pop Century for nine nights and it was awful. Before anyone gets upset - We like pop but the beds were so uncomfortable. Maybe it was being away for to long. I don't know. We would like to stay at the Wilderness Lodge on our next visit. Can anyone tell me about the beds?

I would love to hear what people think as well. I've stayed at Pop my last two trips, and while I love the resort, I don't love the beds!

We also will be staying at Wilderness Lodge for our next trip, I can't wait.

Stayed at WL about half a dozen times and the beds have always been comfy.

I have a horrible time sleeping in most hotel beds, but found the beds at WL to be very comfy! No problems sleeping in them.

Hubby and I stayed at WL for our honeymoon in July 2006, just after the refurbishment. We absolutely LOVED the new beds! Kinda this memory foamish sort of thing. Totally comfy...best sleep we had the whole trip!

Love the beds @ WL............we were just there in April & it was fantastic. No trouble sleeping........had King Size bed. We've stayed @ POP and absolutely hated the beds & overall the resort experience there was very "unmagical".

You are not alone. I could easily feel the springs even through the bedspread when we stayed at Pop.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I think we will give Wilderness Lodge a try. It's so beautiful and peaceful. I love Disney, but I do like some down time from all the stimulation and Wilderness Lodge seems to offer it.Now that I know everyone is happy with the beds, we will be staying there. Thanks again.

Just had to add that we (DH, myself, & DD - age 4 at the time) were miserable in the POP beds during our last visit. So much so that we said we won't go back until we can upgrade. We'll be at the WL in September!

Stayed at WL in March & had no trouble sleeping in the beds & I'm a light sleeper who needs a soft mattress. The kiddos also had no trouble sleeping in the bunk beds. Loved the WL & can't wait to return.
