wilderness lodge at 7 mos out

Called this am and got a studio at Wilderness Lodge at 7 mos out. This will be our first DVC stay. It will just be for one night as we are cruising on the Dream the next day. It will just be my hubby and I this trip. We also lucked out on our other trip for Nov at OKW(our home resort). SO EXCITED!!!!!!!

I haven't stayed at the WL Villas yet. But our stay at WL last May is what lead us to purchase DVC.

My most favorite thing with staying at the Lodge is taking the boat ride to the MK. I absolutely love it at night heading back to the resort. I always feel that while staying at this resort I don't feel like I am in Florida until I go to one of the parks.

We too snagged a studio a VWL last week for a pre-cruise stay. Then a few days later got BWV for post-cruise. So excited to be staying at these resorts!

We always stay at OKW an BW, our home resorts, but I would love to stay at WL. We have eaten there several times and it just seems so "cozy". Being an OKW owner also, you'll have to let me know how you like it. I'm always afraid to try someplace new and that it won't live up to OKW.

I have a small contract at OKW that I just bought as well. I really enjoy OKW. The thing I don't like is the bus system there but i can deal with it.

My other home resort it VWL. I just love the resort. Different than OKW but it is very cozy especially if you are a MK fan.

Loved VWL! I'm sure you'll have a great trip. We are hoping for BLT for our next trip - just for something different - but VWL is one of my favorites and I will not be the least bit disappointed if we end up going back there instead.

Congratulations! My family and I just got back from VWL a week ago. It was our first DVC trip as well. We absolutely loved it. It is such a great place. I love the decor, theming, and the grounds - just a beautiful place in every way.

My wife and I always wanted to stay here. We bought at BLT but were determined to spend our first trip at VWL. Just love the place.
