Hi there... trying to figure out touring plans for one morning at AK and one evening at AK. I think my son would love the wilderness explorer activity, could someone please tell me what attractions one must visit to earn the badges? That way, I can incorporate those into our morning.

Separate q, are there any AK attractions that are better at night? We have never been in that park past 1pm. We will try to book the evening safari, expedition everest and the new show, but any others worth trying at night?

Thank you!

Yes, as PP mentioned they are throughout each land, and you will pick up your book on your way into the park as you head over the bridge. You can scope out the ones you want to do that will be on your path for the day. You will probably not get to all in one day as they take time, but can come back on other days or even on your next trip. My DD just went back to do more on our trip in Dec. after having started it on the last trip 2 yrs. ago. Normally it has closed at 4:30 I think - don't know if they will extend it with new night activities.

They make you WORK for those stickers and completed books!!!

You get them at the front, just before you walk over the bridge. Then as you explore the park, just look for the stickered people along the way. Some folks are stationed in obvious areas - at the end of the safari or through the animal trails. But some stations are in out of the way (Rafiki's place) or on the streets (one person is in Asia, and talks about language). I remember Dinoland one being hidden too. The books are designed to be like field guides, to be brought back again and again!

I thought WE was awesome, but definitely can't rush through it. Or you could, but it wouldn't be too fun. Like pp said you can do whichever parts you want.

Personally AK is one of my favorites and we always did 7-8 hours there. Now with nighttime offerings we will probably do a long morning, rest at hotel in heat of the day, and return.

This looks absolutely perfect for our son, he will love it! We have only spent half days at AK and I know there is so much to explore. I think this will make it so much fun for all of us!
