"Wildcard" FP+ problems

I've been to WDW 6 times since FP+ started. I often book one of my fastpasses as the last timeslot of the day. When that fastpass gets cancelled due to weather, or the ride being down, I have been given a "wildcard" fastpass that could be used at ANY park for ANY ride over the next few days. It gives an expiration date 2 or 3 days in advance. The problem is, it never works. It says to just scan for any ride and it will work. It shows up in MDE app and I have shown the person at the FP+ stand, and they never honor it. Anyone else have this problem?

Neat. I've never heard of that. I would have thought they would just honour your fp anywhere else during the last hour at that park. Sorry it never seems to work. Terrible that they don't honour it.
