I do the same thing --- bang out a bunch of pages and then NOTHING for months!! It's a big ordeal, isn't it? I love your Mt. Everest Goal, that's so like me....gee, I think I'll tackle something HUUUUUGGGGGEEEE in a short amount of time, yeah, that's doable.

Can't wait to see the results though!

Lauri

Lynn and Linda your both on the "GOOD GIRLS" list now, but Linda needs another post today to stay there :rotfl2: Just kidding, i know Linda has been busy on a special project so I have to give her some slack.

http://www.capecaribe.com/WebCam.htm

This is another web cam for watching the ship pull out. It is towards the end of the channel. when it disappears from sight here it is about 3to 4 minutes before the ship appears on the two palms cam.
Just thought I'd post it in case anyone was interested,

Kathy

Hi again, everyone.

Talk about obssessed  ... we just tried on our formal outfits and stood in front of the mirror to make sure everything works together :rotfl2: . Hoo boy, this is gonna be a good trip!

:bday: LORNA AND TO YOUR MOM, TOO!

Jeff, great pics. Elizabeth looks so stoked about going out with Daddy alone!

Denise, THANK YOU for asking about the Pig Poop :lmao: . Bill and I just kept looking at each other with twisted expressions trying to figure it out, but were, quite honestly, afraid to ask :rotfl: . (It's the same expression we have when we watch Lost).

Lauri, my bathroom needs cleaned, too. How 'bout it? You'll even get a trip to Ohio in the dead of fall ... gosh, what could possibly be better? :rolleyes1

Dream Boat Wally  , I think, at least from this end, that we won't be able to get Bill up on stage with you. However, I will be there in the front row when you sing! How 'bout giving us a little Abba?! :teeth:

That's a really cool camera angle, Kathy. Thanks for posting! :thumbsup2

Kathy...please put the whip away...I'm here...I'm here!!!

We went away for a couple of nights with the kiddos and just got back a few hours ago. DH took a nap and I watched some HGTV and Food Network. We are heading out in a few for some thin crust pizza - yum!

Sarah - I'm SOOOO glad it looks like DS escaped the chicken pox - whew...that was a close one!

We have NOT received our docs yet.... :sad2:

YippySkippy - My DS John will be turning 8 in December. What is your son's name...I'll let John know to look for him.

Jeff - your girls are adorable ( and you cleaned up pretty nice yourself).

Going to go find the family now so we can head out. I'll catch up with y'all later.

Kelly

Kathy, put the whip away pleaseeee, I was busy working on my special project today and was gone most of the day. I tried to do a little xmas shopping too, but no luck.

Wendy

Wendy,
All the ladies who are working on the special project are exempt from the whip!!! At least for now. All the PM's are counting for them.

Pat, where are you and Steve this weekend?? Hope your all feeling better now.

Shell,
Glad you liked the web cam, just have to hope who ever has the control at the time of the ships passing keeps moving the camera along. Once they just let it sit. That was frustrating.

Yard work is all done, so is the poop scooping!!

Time to relax,
I'll check back soon to see who I can add to the "BAD" list.

Kathy

I want to be on the 'Good Girl' list too....I have an excuse....SHOPPING! :cheer2: Bought DH and DS pants for casual nights and the coolest mickey ties ::MickeyMo .

DD14-driving me crazy with what wardrobe she will be wearing  :scared1: :scared1:  !!

Hope all you Floridians keep great weather for us northerners in 2 weeks :rotfl:

Days for me to work:

List of things to do:
hair cut and color-Tuesday...check
look over the docs....WHERE ARE THEY :confused3 !
get disney rewards dollars...check
get some valium for my nerves!!! :rotfl2:

DS-Josh aka joelidol drove to the store today-first time he drove alone :scared1: brought my van back in one piece :woohoo: bring on the valium :lmao: .

Have a good night all.

Okie :)

Good Night All    ,
Well Me and DS watched the Magic sail off and I told not long till we are on there :woohoo: :woohoo: !!! Tonight we are going to watch Disney Cars. I bought the movie when I was in Toys R Us today. Well just wanted to check-in and say Good Night :cloud9: :cloud9: !!

Hi,

it's me again-I'm stress eating-super fudge brownie ice cream-my baby (DS 16) has just driven himself and my DD-14 to his girlfriend's house to play a game called 'manhunt'...aaahhhh  ...His first time out in the dark driving..I will surley have an ulcer before I get to the cruise :rotfl2:

Okie :)

Ok Kathy, you can put away that whip! I'm here with my new-hard-drive-installed laptop -- so watch out! I'll be posting so much that you'll be begging me to stop!!!! :rotfl:

Took me a long time to catch up! I see I'm only missed when it comes to alcohol and innuendos! :confused3 :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Yes, Shell, I did notice your "size doesn't matter" reference!

Jeff & Lynn -- great pics of the kids! Can't wait to see both of your crews Friday night! Are we all taking the DCL bus over to the port the next morning? I have to go back in old threads and read up on the procedure again.

No docs for us that I know of. Bill & I both stayed home from work yesterday, so they may have been in our drop box and our assistant may not have checked it. :confused3 I won't worry until the end of the week.

Sarah, glad to hear Dutch has been spared the pox. What a HUGE disappointment if you couldn't go.

Not much going on this weekend -- just went to eat at a buffet restaurant with my family (my brother is home from Philly for the week). I'm practicing gorging myself in preparation for the cruise! :lmao:

I'll again soon so I can earn brownie points with Kathy! :thumbsup2

bring on the valium :lmao: .

You better get enough to share with all of us! Wasn't that always the rule in school? "Don't bring treats unless you have enough for everyone." I'm sure the same applies to valium & cruises, right?? :rolleyes1

Awwww Bob, ok, I wont call ya that anymore.....I'll leave the dirty task to Shell..... :thumbsup2 Sorry Shell :rolleyes1

We'll just call you "TB" for short! Then, if someone asks, YOU can explain what it stands for! :lmao:

We shouldn't need valium ON the cruise, gang! IT's getting READY for the cruise that frays the nerves. And will I EVER get the last thing bought?

Now, i'm off to print address labels, tip envelopes, and uh, assemble a scrapbook.

OH - CRuise scrapbooks - Ive done books - after all three cruises i've been on - each one in two weeks or less. It's one of the easiest things you'll ever scrap. Here's the plan.

1. Cruise is a finite event with a known order of play (the itinerary)
2. I picked a colorscheme and bought enough cardstock, coordinating paper and embellishments for the whole book at once.
3. Don't have a die cut, so I print my title letters using word art in powerpoint, and hand cut them. I used the same font throughout, and print on the right side of the paper, then cut outside the line. Presto, the letters are preoutlined.
4. Irregardless of what cruise or size album, a cruise will pretty much have the same pages in some order or other.
a. title page
b. at port
c. welcome aboard
d. Our cabin
e. destination spreads - about the ports, excursions, etc.
f. shows and games

Ahhh....that is just what I needed....an outline to work from....Thank you!
I need to do my door sign.....and all the other stuff...what do you put on your tip envelopes. I have the girls making their Thank you cards for the CMs...and address labels for Post Cards....anything else I am missing?

4. Irregardless of what cruise or size album, a cruise will have some selection of pages such as these, in some order or other.
a. title page
b. at port
c. welcome aboard
d. Our cabin
e. destination spreads - about the ports, excursions, etc.
f. shows and games
g. characters
h. FOOD
i. deck parties and nightlife
j. castaway Cay
k. farewell
l. family specific pages - in our case on the last cruise - "sleeping" around (the ship).
5. With the album framework in place, I can also plan what photos I need to be sure to capture.

See? you CAN do it!

Wow, Lindababe, that is good! I am going to have to use that too.

I notice on the cruise ship schedule that we are scheduled to dock at Anchorage in St. Thomas. Does anyone know where that is in relationship to Havensight? Is it close?
On this same cruise last year, we docked at Crown Bay, and we did not like that at all. We are hoping that Anchorage will be better than Crown Bay was.

Evening all: Ok I need help and I know that this has been posted before, however, please tell me how to print off the Navigators please. Also anything about the menus? Can thoes be printed also? Sorry I'm a cruise virgin.

Thanking you all in advance,

One of your dancin nana head cruise mates...
