Please continue to pray for my daughter. We are still having problems. She has a bad mouth and likes to call people names mainly me and she is always always telling me NO.

I do not know what to do.

I hope everyone has a good day. I will not be back on this board until Monday. I am off from work tomorrow so if you reply to this you know why I haven't responded.

I LOVE my new little laptop I can sit here at my home office desk and do company work on one computer and check out the DIS and other sites on the laptop!

I think you are all right about Jerry -- he only wanted to get to the waltz, so now it's time for people with actual talent to move on!

Kelly, my DH battles recurring back problems like you. Everything will be going fine and then he'll overdo it on exercise or yard work and be out of commission for a while. Hope you feel better soon.

Everyone else needs to be very careful over the next 50+ days -- no heavy lifting, strenuous exercise, etc. We have to have a bunch of healthy on the cruise.

CHERI - I too was thinking that if DH would buy ME a laptop life would be easier

BILL - by the way....I'll pass on the ancient chinese secret ointment ...I'll stick to good old fashioned Biofreeze. Have you heard of it...the stuff is AWESOME!

FYI on the back injury stuff....my Drs. have told me that when you have injured your back ice is actually the best thing for a while, sometimes up to a week, until the inflammation goes down. Heat draws more blood to the area and can cause more throbbing. I've found that walking around with a cold pack on my lower back(in the house of course) has helped tremendously, but in the morning there is nothing liike a nice hot shower to get rid of the achiness from lying in bed all night.

I agree with the staying healthy stuff. There is way too much fun to be had on the Magic and I don't plan on missing any of it

BOB- how did the scavenger hunt go this weekend?

LUCINDA - Has anything happened with your daughter that maybe she isn't telling you? Is something wrong at school? Is the move in with your in-laws upset her? Hang in there...my DD will be 11 in a couple of weeks and her hormones are raging - (Sorry Bob )

By the way...I am feeling MUCH better today. I think I will be feeling 100% by the end of the week...as long as i don't do anything silly.

well our diiner is done, dishes are done, laundry is done, Minnie is taking DH for their nightly walk. When they get back we are going to watch the newest X-men movie. DS bought it today as a late birthday present for DH.

It sounds like everyone here is keeping busy today.

It's pretty quiet around here tonight. I didnt have much to say, just wanted to keep our post count up.

Ok, this isn't going to be a happy week for me All this talk about back problems and my back is killing me. Now to top it all off I broke my little toe today It hurts so bad. It turned blue about a half hour later. Esther told me to put a really tight shoe on to help "pop" it back in place and now my entire foot is numb. Who said to be careful these next couple of weeks? Guess they didn't mean me.
The thing that really upsets me is exercise. Now I won't be able to walk on the treadmill tomorrow.

Hope all of you have a good evening, at least better than my day went.

What a beautiful fall day in mid-Michigan.

Go Tigers!!! -- oops, sorry Lynn. I know you're a Yankees fan. My DD and her DH are going to the game on Saturday. Best part is we get their kids for an overnight visit.

My fellow DISers with hurting backs, toes, etc. Get well soon!!! We all have to be healthy when we are on our long awaited cruise.

evening all....I know I didnt post much last night...just was not in the zone.....just a crazy day and was extremely tired.

Pat....so sorry for your toe....I broke my little toe about a month ago and its still sore....better but not 100 % yet. Actually I wear gym shoes to work all day...then when I got home would put my flip/flops on....that seemed to work for me. But even now putting on my shoes for work, its still hurts some.

Well someone stole my DH wallet at work today. He works in a steel plant. He leaves his wallet, in his office, in his breif case. So when he went to leave for home, he noticed it was missing. Went down in the plant and asked the workers..they said they saw some guy go upstairs into his office earlier in the day. No one stopped him nor said nothing to anyone.. so by the time he got home from work and called his credit cards they had already made charges on them. so tomorrow we have to go to the DMV to get a new license for him. What a pain in the butt.... :

OK, DWTS review. Sorry, guys ... Sara just doesn't do it for me. She has always been stiff, doesn't "flow" gracefully with the music, and tonight could be her last. Anyone else glued to the set while Springer waltzed? I think he did a lovely job.

DENISE - sorry to hear about your DH's wallet. The same thing happen to us a number of years ago. Long story short...the guy bought a motorcycle using my DH"s info. He was caught and prosecuted...but what a pain in the you know what.

We had to call all 3 Credit Reporting Agencies and put "Security Alerts" on our accts. Even with that the guy was able to purchase the bike because someone didn't read the full credit report....
