JanDave,
as far as I know nobody has made an official list for us. That is really nice of you to volunteer to do this for us. Someone did it on our last cruise an dit was great. tell us what type of information you would like and we can send it to you. Our last list had things such as: room numbers. names, ages, special occassions celebrated on this cruise, dining times, where we live.
Do you want this type of information?
Thankyou again for doing this,

I am so glad that you guys like the t-shirts. I will have someone here in Missouri throw an idea together. I like bright colors too. I think orange or peach would be great. (the guys probably won't like the peach).

JanDave - Just let me know what information you need. We started an excel websheet last time. I actually carried it with me for a day or two before I learned everyones names.

MelanieC - I loved Bev and Molli. Bev's husband Dan had his birthday on the ship. Since we had linked all of our reservations together, we (11 tables worth) were all able to gather around and SING happy birthday to him. It was great fun. Bev and Molli always had a great attitude no matter what.

Hello all,

I've actually started a list of those on our sailing...if anyone would like to add their names, kids' ages and room number, I can add that. Feel free to also add any interesting facts about yourself..for example...

When DH and I honeymooned in Egypt, we played hackysack in King Tut's tomb. (this is for real :goodvibes )

I'm not real "techie" so if there's someone who really knows how to work a spreadsheet and would rather keep track, please gimme a holler and I'll send you the notes I have.

Now we can finally say "we're taking a cruise this year!" Yeah for 2006!

Jamie

Hi Jamie:

Thanks for starting a list. Our info:

Count DW and I in for the shirts. We only met two other DISers on our first cruise over a year ago, but we still stay in touch. You never can have too many people on your side! ;)

Add DW and I to the list. Here are the basics, let me know if you need anything else:

Celebrating our 8th Anniversary on 11/28

Jamie, add us to the list also,

Hi! We just went on this exact cruise this last November, and loved the time of year as well--you guys are in for such a treat!
When I saw that grlzmom and her family were going on this date, I couldn't bear thinking of them going without us!! :teeth: So we switched our dates over (rebooked on board using a dummy date) and are booked on this sailing.

It will be me, DH, DS13, DD12, DD10, DS4. We are waitlisted for 2 connecting cat 10's, and waitlisted for main dining. This cruise is alot sooner than we planned to go again since it will only be a year since our last one. So I HAVE to make this work!! :wizard: I knew of many others on our sailing that had rebooked for this date too. So I am hoping to see some familiar faces. I hope everything works out as the year progresses and we are able to go. :goodvibes

Hi Michelle,
Welcome to our group. We have had a lot of new people lately. The more people we have the better our cruise will be. Looking forward to getting to know everyone on this board over the next few months.

Thanks Kathy! I am really excited because I am pretty sure that things will work out just fine for us to get to go. Now I just need to go back and read all the pages of posts to catch up!

Jamie:

Here is our information:

Trey - Dad (xx birthday on 30th)
Tonya - Mom
Hunter - Son - 10th birthday on 25th (the day we cruise)
Cassidy - 9 - First Disney Cruise (she doesn't know the fun she will have)

We are currently in 2056.

We will be on the late dinner rotation. Hoping for A, C, L rotation.

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if we need passports for this cruise.

TIA

Lucinda

I think they changed it a few months ago so now it's 1/1/07 when you have to have them. So we should be ok without them. But if you plan on traveling the next few years it probably wouldnt hurt to get it ahead of time. The prices went up last year and who knows they may do it again when they are mandatory. It seems when ever you have to have something the price goes up. Plus as the time gets close for people to have to get them I'm sure there will be a rush of them which may slow them down some. They already take about a month or so. We are going to get ours this summer so we will be set for the next 10 years.

Yes, that's right...we're still good with birth certificates WITH THE RAISED SEAL. Just talked to a t.a. today at AAA. This is Disney Month and I transferred my ressie to them and got an additional $150 shipboard credit (in addition to $200 given onboard when I rebooked). Plus, I could keep the discounted cruise price and will get 10% off at Treasure Ketch if I spent $75 or more and 10% off non-motorized rentals on Castaway Cay. I shopped around and it was the best deal I could find. Now, I just need to get on Main Dining and think about port transportation/room for night before. Ah, so much to do and way too much time! :confused3

:cool1: Hey, will be on the 11-25-06 cruise also....first cruise and totally looking forward to it. There will 13 in our party, some have cruised and some have not.....enjoying all the info here. Driving my sister crazy, she has cruised before and her daughter is the one that booked everyting. Would like to meet up on the ship.....

Denise

Howdy Denise,
welcome to our group. Boy we are sure growing this past month.
Yes we all want to meet up on the ship. On our other crusies we usually met on the first day in the promenade lounge around 3 because most people have arrived and found their rooms and you have an hour before the safety drill. It is too early to set an exact date and time but you can be assured we will have a meet. they are really a fun event.
13 is a big group, I'm sure you'll have a blast!
We are going as a couple this time, no kids or grandkids. It will be #11 for us and we're doing back to back cruises so actually it will be #12 too.
Feel free to ask any questions, people on this thread are very nice and helpful if you have questions.

If you don't quit rubbing this in....... ;)

Welcome Denise. I am excited about the number of DISers we are going to have on this cruise. Our cruise on 11/04, we only had 3 DISers meet together. I couldn't believe there were that few on my cruise.

Counting the days, and waiting for the 2007 announcements. I told DW about some of the rumors last night and her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. I would love to see a Med itinerary simply because I want to do the transatlantic repo cruise!

Wow - I leave the board for a few days and 20+ people arrive :cool1:

I am really happy to hear that there are a few younger kiddos coming. As I have mentioned before, DS will be 4 1/2 ish when we sail and I would love him to have a few buds in the Club so mommy and daddy can share a few bevvies up on deck.

I have already sent our info to fourfoxes (let me know if you need me to send again). As for interesting facts, well.....

DH builds custom hot rod cars for a living. I just started horseback riding again after a 15 year abscence - used to ride competitively until university, DS is a typical 4 yo - loves dinosaurs and hotwheels the louder the better! We live in Toronto, Canada and are going to WDW in Feb for a stay at WL. We went on the 4 night Wonder last Feb and loved it so much we re-booked on board. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

OK, I just went back through our thread to add more details to "THE LIST" and, boy, we have a quite a list started already. Here's who I have onboard:

Wow. 20 of us plus our families. Will be quite a DIS meet!

And 5 of us from PA. We NEED to get together for a pre-cruise DIS meet. Anywhere in Chester County that would be 1/2 way for everyone? Some lazy Saturday or Sunday afternoon?

Looking forward to adding lots more names and info. to our list.

I am not far from Chester County. Maybe we could all meet at King of Prussia mall but then again that place is huge. I know Kildare's is near the mall.

does anyone else have any suggestions.

I thought it was a bit weird to have a pic of myself on my siggy - should have the DS or the fam....and my siggy was a bit big anyway...but for old time sake.....
