Wild stories from WDW bashers

Even if you form a hamburger from the raw meat, put it on a bun and bite into it - no blood spurts out! Just an exaggeration for 10 seconds of attention. If he just said - my hamburger was undercooked - no one would have responded to it.

Rather interesting posts there ... but don't we all have stories from somewhere??? Luckily ... I've never had any bad luck with dining at WDW ... (ok ... knock on wood just to be sure!) ...

well in all fairness, bad things can happen. When I was younger, 13 or 14, I went to Disney with my family and stayed at The Yacht Club. We had dinner the 2nd to last night there at the hotel restaurant (Captain's Grille). Had food poisoning the next day.. only lasted a day and a half so not horrible but definitely wasn't very happy since I throwing up on what should have been my last full day in the park and Magic had EMH that day too!!!! :(

I understand that in a place as large as WDW, a mild case of food poisoning is bound to happen from time to time. However, the person's story about blood squirting everywhere when all the patrons bit down on their hamburgers is just way too crazy. For one thing, like someone else said, hamburger meat isn't that bloody. Second, the poster seems reluctant to tell what restaurant it happened at. If something this traumatic happened that they claim "messed up our whole vacation", you think they'd remember where it happened. Third, have any of you ever been in a restaurant in WDW where almost everybody was eating only hamburgers????:confused3

These people probably never even went to WDW!

maybe beaches and cream

Well, my entire family likes their beef 'mooing'....so bloody hamburgers??? Bring it on! I love it when Prime rib is served luke warm in the center! LOL!

In any case, he was obviously exaggerating some undercooked burgers. Hilarious! Anyone that reads this and honestly thinks that everyone in the restaurant was spitting burger blood is a bit too gullable. LOL!

Update! The person who said they have it on DVD responded with what restaurant this happened at. They said it was at Pinocchio's. However, according to the menu on Deb's site, they don't even serve burgers there!

I did a little searching on the Internet. It appears that Trumann has a population of less than 7,000. Yet three unrelated familes were at WDW and USF during the same time period. And two of them even accidentally ran into each other at USF.

This does not really seem believable.

Exactly, and not only did they see each other at both WDW and USF, but they were in the same restaurant at the time of this alleged "bloody burger incident"! And then they both just happened to respond to the same thread about getting sick at WDW! Yeah right!

Not claiming this is a true story by any means, but I remember that the Pinnochio restaurant in MK served burgers in 03. We ate there twice. Our burgers were fully cooked!:rotfl2:

I like that despite the menu posted they still insist they got burgers there. I agree that they HAD burgers there maybe 4 years ago but have not since then. We went in 2006 an they didnt have burgers. I think they did have them in 2005 when we went. DD just corrected me and said we ate a burger there in 2005.
