Wild fires near DL?

I have heard details on the news about all of the wild fires that have broken out in CA. Out of curiosity, are there any near Anaheim?

Wild fires this time of year are nothing new..but I havent heard anything about any being close to Disney so far anyway.

As far as I know thw biggest fires are in Northern California. There are over 800 wild fires burning here in California.

I am in Fairfield, California and one of the biggest fires was here. There were close to 500 fire fighters on the fire lines here. Thankfully the fire is 80% contained. But now the already tired fire fighters have to head to Lake County where the fire has already reached 10,000 acres. Northern California is a very smokey place to be.

I am not far from the larger fires and wow is the smoke bad, but no worries for DL so far they have had nothing that would make the news.

We just drove back to Sacramento from the Red Bluff area (very Northern California). We were camping and were told to evacuate due to a fire. It was very smoky and we were happy to leave. I thought we would be escaping the yucky air quality. Boy was I wrong!

It's almost as bad here! Hopefully it will clear soon!

I sure hope it clears soon! I am in eastern Contra Costa County and it has been SO SMOKEY yesterday and today! You can't even see the sun today!
We can smell the smoke even inside the house! Yuck!

DL isn't situated near any Mountains, so there little to no chance for a wild fire. half of Anaheim would have to burn down before any forest fire hit DL.

And trust me if there was any chance of a Wild fire near DL, they'd have the national guard out there. and it would be on every news channel in every language.

you have no worries about DL going anywhere

The air quality here is so bad right now, you walk outside into a haze and it just smells like smoke. At least they are getting them under control!

I am also in Contra Costa - the air is awful - makes your eyes burn and throat hurt.

I'm in Northern Nevada and the smoke is awful here even! You'd think the fire was down the street from me, not in the next state over! Hope they get them out soon, it's really messing up my throat too!

DL is surrounded by concrete. There is no way DL will ever be threatened my wildfires. The nearest brushes that could burn are in the anaheim hills over 8 miles away!

The only time I know wildfires affected Disneyland was when there was a huge fire in the Anaheim Hills, and the air was very smoky for about three days there.

Right now, the air condition is decent there, and weather is beautiful.

I am in N. Ca and it is SOOOO BAD!! Over 800 fires and many of them just being left to burn due to lack of man power. And they are saying it is going to be WEEKS before the air clears.

Honestly I think our air quality is going to be bad from the fires all summer. The fire danger will just get worse and the fire fighters are so over worked already and we are still almost a week before the end of June. You have to figure that in California we normally do not get any measurable rain before Halloween so everything is still very dry at that point. We are looking at a very long fire season this year.
