Can I ask which tour you suggest of the Wild Animal Park near San Diego? Looks like the Photo caravan is great, but it has a minimum age of 8. Has anyone done the family caravan, or roar and snore or beastly bedtime instead? Or even the VIP tour? any suggestions for how to get close to the animals? Thanks in advance!

We took the Safari tour in April as we only had a few hours in the park before we had to catch our plane.
This was a great tour -- only 10 people are on the tour and they take you right back by the animals. We even got to see the vets darting an antelope to vaccinate it -- which was a lot more interesting than it sounds. My son was 8 and had a wonderful time. It was a super way to end our San Diego visit.
