Wild Africa Trek Ticket Question

I purchase tickets to the Wild Africa Trek on Sunday, got a confirmation number over the phone the charge has posted to my credit card, but I didn't get an e-mail confirmation from Disney and the tickets aren't showing up in MDE.

For those that have done this before did you get any kind of confirmation?

Tours will not show in MDE. For tours I've booked by phone, I've never received an email confirmation.

Nope - got no confirmation of any kind although my TA said I should have got an e-mail but didn't. I didn't even know exactly where to go so we went to AK early that day to see if we could figure out where to go. It was completely obvious as we got close to Kilimanjaro Safaris and we were also able to check in with someone there. We then went off and did several rides before going back.

Glad you asked, I was about to! Does anyone know if I need to tell them ahead of time that we're vegetarians? I told them about my nut allergy, but I'm so used to not having to tell people we don't eat meat for any of the restaurants that I didn't think to mention it.

They will ask you again when you check in about meal requirements, but I would call now and add vegetarian to your reservation. I had a special meal that was marked just for vegetarians (well not a "meal." They give you a variety of samples to try). Everything was so good, I loved the food!

Thanks! That's good to know. I'll definitely call them back just to be sure. I figured they'd have options, but better safe than hungry!
