Wild Africa Trek solo?

I was wondering if anyone thinks that the Wild Africa Trek is a good tour to on your own?

I'm going Disney with my family but not one person wants to go or spend that money.

This may sound stupid but I'm mostly worried about eating alone for the lunch. I know that that shouldn't be big deal but it would be nice hear from others about their solo experience.

I did it solo back in November! It was great! Plenty of people in my group to talk with and the guides are taking pictures the whole time and will happily take some of you if you're alone! I had a sweet family ( a mom, dad, and their two young daughters) invite me to sit with them at lunch but others were just sitting wherever. The tables are set for four but the 5 of us easily fit at one ! Don't skip out on it even if your family isn't as keen as you. I found it very peaceful to go off to a railing alone for a few minutes at the boma after we ate to just look at all the animals on the savannah.

Did it solo and it was alot of fun.

I was seated with a honeymooning couple and I could tell it was uncomfortable for them - it didn't bother me since I'm pretty outgoing. I had hoped that I would be seated with the family I was chatting with after the hippo pool.

You didn't have to stay seated for long and could get up and look around the overlook which is what I did.

I had such a great time and showed the pics to my oldest who wanted to do it the next time we went to Disney. So we did and he had a blast.

I agree, you will love it. You should have plenty of people to chat with.

Although I haven't yet done that tour I have done others solo. I suggest you do what you want and not worry about what others might think.
