Anyone ever stopped at Wild Adventures Theme Park while on the way to see the :earsboy: ? What was your opinion of the Park? Anyone been at Christmas and seen their Christmas events/decorations?

I realize this in not in Orlando, but it's not tooooo faaarrr away;)

Hi there

We've not been, but friends of ours have gone and really really enjoyed it.
They said there are great rides and no lines.
(and I think they went last summer)

(love Pensacola, by the way. Jubilee (upstairs) and McGuires are my 2 fave restaurants--anywhere!)
:)

I may be visiting there next Monday. I will write a trip report when I return. I must say the guest services at the park are great. They answered my e-mail questions plesantly and in a timely manner. They sent me maps and brochures quickly.

This post needs to be posted on "The Other Side of the Florida border." :)

We went by accident sort of a few years ago - just kept seeing the signs and decided to stop. We were sticker shocked at the admission price, just based on the signs at the time we didn't expect to blow over a $100.00 on this impulsive diversion.
Anyway, they did not have the major rides like apparently they do now. It was a small little, zoo like park with a merrygo round, and a few other small amuzement park like rides, a train, etc... It was VERY HOT when we went too. But the placed seemed clean and there weren't any lines and over all it was just fine. I think they have added alot - just check on the park admission! By the way, "it ain't disney."

No, it is not WDW but being only a 70 mile trip for us, was a great day trip with another family. Went in March and there were no lines and lots of roller coasters for the boys and kiddie rides for the little girls. Used our AAA card at the window and saved a little. Animal area was nice to walk through. Had little shows with them too. It was a great way to get our DS to LOVE roller coasters as he had been fearful. NOW he says he will do RnR in 2 weeks! I would NOT combine this with a Disney trip.
