[Land-and-Sea]

Hey gang. A friend of mine opened a new Disney-oriented site (www.wikidisney.com ) based on a "wiki" engine and he's looking for some folks to try it out. We especially need folks to enter some info about the cruise line (or other topics for that matter).

Please note, this site is not a commercial site in any way. Its completely free and free of advertising. Its a hobby site started by my friend, Glenn (aka dizwiz: www.dizwiz.com ) who wants to simply share it as an open resource for all Disney fans.

For those not familiar..."wiki" software allows many people to update articles for the purpose of creating a vast, dynamic and up-to-date reference. The "big daddy" of the wiki world is wikipedia which has articles on just about everything. If you look through there you'll get an idea of what DizWiz would like to see done at WikiDisney (but about Disney of course )

Thanks for reading and I hope a few of you check it out. Its a neat idea. Also, hopefully I haven't run afoul of any board policies. Based on my understanding of the guidelines I don't see a conflict.

Hi agotta. Thanks for the offer. Really no details to give but I guess I didn't explain myself correctly...all one needs to do is register (go to the "create a login" link on the top right) and feel free to add or edit any information you like.

For instance...on the Disney Cruise Line page there are links to individual pages for each of the ships. I'd love it if someone could add a bunch of statistical info for each (size, # of rooms, passengers, # crew, date of maiden voyage etc etc).

Of course it doesn't have to be cruise related though...if you know something about something else Disney like.....I don't know....Spaceship Earth...feel free to add that. That's the beauty of the wiki....freeform information collection.

To give you an idea of where we'd like to see the thing go here's the entry for Walt Disney on Wikipedia.org: WD article. You don't have to create the entire page though. . Just add what you want to, even the smallest fact.

If anyone needs any help/pointers just let me know!
