wii Toy Story Mania 3D

Question for anyone who has the wii Toy Story or just got it for xmas. Are the 3D graphics really bad or are we doing something wrong? We unlocked the 3D games and they "appear" to be in 3D but it is really hard to tell. Is there something special you need to do to get the full effect or are the 3D graphics just lame? Without the 3D it is still great but we were disappointed with not being able to play in 3D.

Im not sure as we havent unlocked anything yet. hubby said we have a 3d effect for our larger TV for video games but our Wii is attached to a smaller 32 inch TV in the playroom that doesnt, so whatever we get when we unlock it will have to do. So far Im not impressed at all with this game but I bought it for ds when target had the buy 2 get one free and $10 off coupon, so I have to remember that when I think I wasted my money on this game..

We played a little last night and are playing right now, we do not use the glasses, but we also haven't unlocked anything. We are not impresses with the 3-D effects. But we are still enjoying the game. So far my favorite thing is that I have beat my DH in every game. He said, "Well, I beat you on the real one at HS." I replied that he did not, to which he said, "Fine I'll take you back to prove it." Any day, baby, any day! LOL!!!!

We think the 3D is very bad - so bad that we have been playing without the glasses and it looks so much better.

Disappointing because Disney is better than most at 3D!

The 3d is lame and none of my kids really liked the game- too much time to get to a new level (and not enough variety in the beginning). The sleeper WII hit this year has been just dance! I got it free from houseparty and we had quite the dance off last night!. So, I have to keep reminding myself that with the Target deal I got on Toy Story Mania and the value of the free game from house party I still came out ahead! haha!

The 3D is horrible! The game is fun, but if someone gets it for 3D, prepare to be disappointed.

my kids got it for Christmas and after playing it for about 20 minutes they really weren't into it. However, they absolutely LOVE the Super Mario Bros. game.

My DS and I just played it and he was disappointed with the 3D. It just looked blurry. We did have fun playing the games though!

Add us to the list of those that thinks the 3D is bad. The game is OK simply as a reminder of time at DHS.

got this for dd11 and i asked if she liked it. She said all it was was shooting pies. Didnt seem excited about it. I told her maybe she needs to pass levels for it to get better

Yes we thought the same thing but go to story mode and its a lot of fun and goes beyond just shooting pies.

We have not been able to play more than one at a time for some reason. We can't figure out how to add another remote. We are new to the wii so that may have something to do with it. So far the game looks cute although I guess we have not unlocked the 3D part to it because it looks fine to us.

(I agree with one PP, we also love mario brothers)

I can't tell if it's 3D or not. I put the glasses on and it didn't seem to be? I don't know, we just really started playing it today. It's a lot of shooting rings. Not very exciting. I'm glad I got the good deal on Buy.com for it, but it wasn't worth obsessing over (which is what I did until I found the good deal!)

We are having WAY more fun with Wii Sports Resort!

You have to unlock the 3D level at the end. Doesn't take that long, but if you're just using the glasses on the regular levels, that's not 3D.

The pie shooting is just "practice" before you start.

We just played today and absolutely love this game!! We are big "shooting" fans when it comes to video games so we definitely are lovin' it.

We've unlocked the games for free play but haven't gotten to it for 3D yet...but I"ll be prepared not to be impressed!

DS5 got this and so far he's played it all of 3 minutes. Didn't seem interested at all. Which is suprising because we all loved the ride at Disney.......

I thought it was 3D from the start (I didn't play it with him). Do you have to unlock 3D???

We got this game and I love it. DD has not a chance to play it yet. I thought the 3D was great. It was actually better than what we get in our movie theater! I have a 32 inch flat screen so I am not sure if that makes a difference or not. It actually made me a little naseated though. maybe I was too close to the tv...

We finished the story mode yesterday, how do we start the game today from where we left off? What do we have to do to unlock the 3D mode ?

We all had a lot of fun playing, there are 6 of us - 2 adults and 4 kids - 6, 8, 13, 15

I haven't played it (I'm not much for video games) but my kids and DH say they can't get it out of the practice mode. After about a half hour they gave up and set it aside.
