WII motion plus

what is this new WII motion plus they are selling now..

is it a good thing or just a waste of money.. does this make a nice gift for someone with a WII ?

We are taking the Wii plunge this Christmas. From what I understand the new motion plus is an add-on to the standard controller. Alone it costs $19.99. There is a special on Amazon to get 2 of the motion plus contraptions with Wii Sports Resort:

The standard Sports Resort only has one controller. Standard is $49.99, the Amazon special is $59.99.

This controller adapter basically enhances the motion sensitivity of the controller. At least that I what I remember from quizzing hubby last night. Haven't tried either controller, so I can't say if it is worth it or not. If the gamer has Wii Sports Resort, then he/she will have one of the controllers (unless the person got the Amazon bundle, or purchased the gadget as an add-on.)

I was going to get to play the golf game....until I tried it on a friend's unit. It reminded me why I quit golf. I was just as bad.
