Wii Games

Hi Guys,
This is my first visit here for a while. I haven't been able to bring myself to visit not knowing for sure whether or not we were going to WDW next year. It was just too hard and depressing. Anyway, the exchange rate is picking up so things are looking up.
Anyway, I was just reading the Animal Crossing post and it sounds like something I should add to the kids Christmas stocking. Just wondering if there is anything else that anyone can highly recomend. We only have Wii Sports and Wii play so far. I have bought Mario Cart for Christmas and a Diego game but need a couple more ideas. My girls are 4 and 6 years old but DH and I like to play too. DH is also getting a PS3 for Christmas so any suggestions as to games for that too would be great.

We have super paper mario and super mario galaxy for our wii and we LOVE it. The Super paper Mario can be sort of challenging sometimes (my 8 year old neice gets frustrated with it) but they love Super Mario Galaxy!

Dance Dance and a couple mats makes for an awesome family time. Im 35 and found myself singing all the songs on the High School Musical Karaoke game. for two girls, that may be an option. Im looking forward to getting the light saber game when it comes out.

I second the Mario Party 8!!!! My nieces and nephews play it when they come over. My friends play it when they come over. Even my mother and grandmother play it when they come over.

Are you talking about The Force Unleashed as the light saber game or is there another one coming out soon? I got The Force Unleashed in Oct and is very fun...although I'm not very good at it. There is a lot to do at once with the game play.

If your kids are of the "mature" age range and they play violent games like god of war then get them No More Heroes. Otherwise I'd say Super Mario Galaxy or Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Another vote for Mario Party 8. It's fun for all ages. Rock Band and Guitar Hero are a blast.

My niece is eight and I got her a game called We Cheer. It gets good reviews at Amazon and a friend's daughter has it and loves it. Very girly, but lots of fun I hear.

Some that we really enjoy are "Carnival Games", "Disney Think Fast", "Super Mario Galaxy" and any of the LEGO games. "My Sims" is also really cute.

For the wii, the price is right is really fun, and not just because I got a dollar on the wheel and won both showcases the first time I played

I love Boom Blox probably as it's the one game that I can beat my husband at. Oh and Lego Indiana Jones has kept me awake and staring at the TV for hours and hours. Must put control down.

The kids are getting Outdoor Challenge for Christmas.

Their favorite games right now are Mario Cart and Lego Batman.

My kids love Carnival game on the Wii and DS

We really like Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz. Not necessarily for the Super Monkey Ball, which is fun itself, but it comes with 50 party games like, darts, racing games, tightrope walking, home run derby, asteroid shootout and so many more, I can't remember them all. My kids really like Mario Cart, we don't have it but their cousin does. I can't find it anywhere.

We love Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games... So fun! And we just got Mini Golf which we think is really fun! Good Luck!
