Wii Games for a 3 yr old?

My Nieces 3rd birthday is coming up later this month.

As is customary I asked her father what he thinks she would like to get this year, or what sort of things he may like for her to recieve. He then told me he would be getting her a Wii console for her birthday.

I have *no clue* what games a 3 yr old can manage. She is pretty coordinated for a toddler, she has always been a little bit ahead with her motor skills. Even though we have a Wii I am still not sure what games she could actually play without some major help or would hold her attention long enough.

I am sure the DIS will have some answers for me!

Anyone with a 3yr old and a Wii, I need your help!

I wonder this too. Our Wii is getting dusty from neglect, so I would love to get some use out of it, but DD3 still seems really young to play. I do know that my friend's DS (who is 3, but 5 months older than my DD) loves to box on there. That game comes with the Wii though so I'm no help.

My son is almost four and is kicking the butts of DDs10 and 14 right now on SuperMarioBros. However, at 3, he had a hard time with the controls on most games. We have ToyStoryMania and the kids like it. Also have Mario Cart, and that is a favorite from the little guy to grandma! A game that is pretty simple for little kids is Wii Music. There's no strategy, they just pick an instrument and play.

You can upload photos onto the Wii and they have some very simple games built in.

With the pictures you upload, you can make puzzles and other fun stuff. I think you just need to insert the disc with the photos?

I don't know, but my sister does it on her Wii and the little ones love it.

My little sister LOVES the Disney Princess Enchanted Journey. She is 3 and its perfect for her! I recommend to anyone with a little girl that age. Definitely easy enough for them.

My 3 yr old DGS loves to Bowl. He routinely beats all of us. It's fun for all ages.

dora the explorer game is designed for preschool aged children. We have not played it first hand though, my 4 yr old is not able to play the wii yet (probably since his older siblings hog it), but I have thought about getting him that game...
