I went to toys r us today and found out about a great deal on Wii games. They had certain wii games for buy one get one 50% off. I picked Epic Mickey and dance on Broadway and they were both on the "buy this game for full price" list. They both rang at 50% off!!!! So if you pick two games from the list you will likely get the same deal.

anyone else, if this can be confirmed ill RUN over for epic mickey now..lol

Today you buy one of the Just Dance games or the Michael Jackson game at full price and you get to buy any other Wii game for 50% off. All week long, if you buy Epic Mickey or the new Donkey Kong game, you can get any other Wii game at 50% off.

I bought Epic Mickey and got Kirby's Epic Yarn for 50% off yesterday.

At the first TRU I bought Michael Jackson Experience and Donkey Kong Country for $24.99 each. They were out of Epic Mickey so I went to another TRU and bought another Michael Jackson Experience and Epic Mickey also for $24.99 each.

You have to buy 1 of the 5 dance games on sale for 50% off today only, along with either Donkey Kong or Epic Mickey for both games to ring up for 50% off.

Anyone know if this will work online?

Is this just a one-day sale? Seems to good to be true... :thumbsup2

It might have been working online earlier but Epic Mickey and Donkey Kong were sold out in the morning.

It only works today because the dance games are on sale just today for 50% off.

Holy snap! I just got back from TRU and got that same deal!

In the first transaction I got:
Epic Mickey for 24.99
& Just Dance Kids for 14.99

In the second transaction I got:
Donkey Kong Returns for 24.99
& Just Dance Kids for 14.99
(I'll be giving one to my best friend!)

Hooray! Thank you so much for posting this! :woohoo::cheer2::cloud9::love::banana::worship:

I also picked up two DS games for 34.99 total (Tangled and Petz Nursery 2)

I went to TRU in my pajamas, but so thankful that they were still open!

darn I missed this!!! I need Michael Jackson and Kirby. That's what I get for stepping away from the budget board for a few hours :lmao:

I am so mad, I called TRU to confirm that our store was having the sale and I believed them when they said no, now I see you all got the deal, and I missed it, needed those games too. Oh well.

THAT would have REALLY pissed me off!!!

I called them as well, and talked to TWO different people... Both said absolutely not, they had been ringing up these games all day and nothing like that had happened.

I went down there because I believed the DIS'ers... :thumbsup2 And got exactly what I wanted. It was also nice because it's about 5 minutes away from my house. :goodvibes

I know TRU is having another big 50% off sale this Fri and Sat...anyone know what that entails? Hopefully more Wii game deals since I missed the one ysterday!!!

Do you think this would still work in store on Donkey Kong and Epic Mickey bought together?

You would get them both for $75 plus tax since it would take 50% off just one of those games.

If the store isn't that far away, I would just go and not call in the future. When it comes to these types of deals that are not advertised most of the employees have no idea they exist.

Years ago I heard on another site that Target had a game on clearance for $10.98. It was stickered $49.99 in the case. I asked for a price check and the employee refused to check the price and told me it was $49.99 even though I insisted I thought it was less. I went back the next day, told him I wanted to buy the game and it did ring up $10.98.

so if i went today i wouldnt be able to get the michael jackson and epic mickey for $50??? cuz the dance deal was just yesterday?

When I went to TRU, Donkey kong was sold out so I got Epic Mickey and Wii Party. Epic Mickey rung up $49.99:sad1: So all who were able to get it for half off Great Job. Just wish I was able to get it half off too.

Got Donkey Kong for 50 (or substitute Epic Mickey or Michael Jackson Experience on Wii), then Call of Duty Black Ops for half off (Wii), then any Xbox/PS3 game for half off. So, I got Donkey Kong, Call of Duty, and Assassins Creed Brotherhood for 104. Used 2 gift cards that I got from the Toy Story deal, so total spent was 94, plus I should get 9. back in rewards. Wish I had known the deal yesterday was in store (sold out online), cause I would've saved myself 40 (25 on Donkey Kong and 15 on Epic Mickey). Oh well.

You had to purchase one of the Just Dance games or the MJ game to get them both to ring up 50% off

Man! didn't realize that. Oh well my son made out because normally he would only got one game for Wii at Christmas:)
