Hey guys. I was wondering if any of you had the internet on your Nintendo Wiis set up yet, and if anyone wanted to set up a society of people who have Wifi on them. That way they can exchange Miis to other people; message them or play games over the net too. I will be available for this too.. :thumbsup2

Anyone interested? If so, post here. (But don't post your friend codes on here; anyone can get to them..)

Sure =] I actually posted our code in another thread, I don't really mind if anyone 'random' adds us, it's all good fun.

For everyone else's information, here is what Lizzy said before:

Bf already has one along with quite a few games, we're both nerds (bf is especially when it comes to video games) and Steve knew about it wayyy back so he was quick to pre-order when the time came :teeth:

Hey, if anyone wants to add us:

Maybe we can get a DIS Mii Parade going :Pinkbounc

I've just about managed to set mine up!! Miis are way too advanced for me at the moment.

I'm actually quite disappointed at how involved you need to be with the remote, and mine seems to jump about on the screen. Anyone else having problems or am I really that techno-moronic?

I got my internet connection working on it without any problems, although I cant find information on any forthcoming games that will actualy make use of it, and until then, I cant see the point in adding anyone.....or am I missing something ?

You are correct; there aren't any games that have Wifi yet.

Just wait to Animal Crossing (or knowing you, Super Smash Brothers Brawl... ;) )

It took me twenty minutes to work out how to wave link's sword about tonight.:happytv:

What's WiFi??!!

Your Mii's can migrate to other Wii's. It's pretty cool to turn on your Wii and find a new Mii

We're not wireless and as the TV couldn't be further from the PC I'm not inclined to connect it at present. I don't like the idea of leaving my PC on 24/7 - save the planet! If you do link up is it OK to turn the PC off if you're not using it?

DGodson(12) is a Nintendo addict and had his set up within about 20 mins of opening the box. I can't get DH off the pool game, but when he's at work I'm as wizz at the fishing one!

OT but connected, DGS's BF had one ordered for his birthday so he could get it on release day. His mum paid a £10 deposit in Game, and STILL they keep telling her they have none in BUT another friend says he heard someone was told to come in at 9.00 just before Christmas as they were getting a delivery, queued up and was told £375 :scared1: :faint: Rip-off or what? I don't know if this is official Game policy or an "entrepreneurial" manager. I do know my mum had to keep a close watch on the ones she bought for our kids and my DSis's kids as both DH's were up for e-baying them and giving the kids a photo :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1
