Anyone got the Disney Think Fast game or Disney Sing it?

DS5 wanted to get one of them with some of his Christmas money tonight but I talked him into waiting before he spent his money on it...

Anyone have it? Is it worth the $50?

TIA!

DS who is 7 wants to get Disney Think ( thinks mum might play that one:hug: ) so I will be interested to here reviews on it :thumbsup2

My mom got me Think Fast for Christmas. I played it once and was sort of disappointed in it.

It does have some Disney trivia. However, it also has questions like "which of these is a vegetable" and goofy (no pun intended) things like that - and it seems those types of questions were the majority.

So, if you're looking for a pure Disney trivia game, then I say don't get it.

Interesting! Never expected that... :confused3 would a 5 year old like it?

He might. My 5 year old wouldn't, but he'd rather be playing Ultimate I Spy, Wii Sports, Mario Party 8, etc. than playing a Disney trivia game.

Thanks! My DS loves Mario Party 8 also. We got Cooking Mama for Christmas and I was surprised how much he liked it!

Thanks again...

Is Ultimate I Spy a video game? My daughter used to love to play I spy on the computer.

My DS5 and DN5 begged us to buy Disney Think Fast, and then showed little to no interest in t once we started playing.

It's set up like a game show, with Genie as the host. You get to be a Disney character and you have to answer disney trivia questions. Some of them were tough for little ones (Rescuers Down Under Questions, etc)

I liked it, but I found that Genie started to grate on my nerves.

Oh, we are loving Mario Party 8 too! My sister got Cooking Mama and says it is quite a kick. I had never heard of it before they got it.

Ahh, the money we can spend on this silly game :)

I'd have him wait to get the game when it is in the bargain bin. We bought it and it didn't work. But, for the short time it did work, it was horrible. It asks for your difficulty level, so I thought they'd make the questions harder for me, but it was all the same. Very lame questions. Very rarely did they have anything to do with Disney. It would be a question showing Ariel and ask if she lived in the ocean or on land. Really dumb.

We gave DD Sing it for Christmas. DD loves it - she already knows/thinks she knows the words anyways. She put in at least 2 hours the first day. Kelsie from HSM puts them through singing lessons too - pitch, breathing, and accuracy and the like. Only comes with one microphone though. We are considering buying another one so she can play with a friend - they have duets on there too.

ETA - tylenol and/or earplugs may be needed after a couple of hours depending on their volume!

My husband gets a gaming magazine sent monthly, and I saw a review for the Disney singing game. It got a pretty poor score (I think 5.5 or 6.0ish), but said if you were only interested in singing Disney games that it was fine for that. I think the hit in points was for not being a very broad reaching game--but it's a Disney game. What are you expecting, right ?

I LOVE Mario Party. It's something you can play alone or in a group, which I think makes it worth the money. We also have Mario Kart, which I think is also lots of fun. Mario Galaxy is hard for me in my twenties, so I can only imagine it would be hard for younger ones. Just my two cents. I hope that helps !

OK, this is going to sound weird (Im the dad) but I love HSM and I beat the sing it game in about an hour, I loved it, but it doesnt have enough songs, Im hoping they come out with a better one that has all three movies music in it.
HSM3 has the best songs... I told you it was going to sound weird!!!

We have both. The Sing It game only has songs from recent Disney Channel stars and movies like HSM and Camp Rock. DH bought it for me thinking it would also have songs from Disney animated movies, but it does not. But my DS10 LOVES it. It comes with a microphone that you can hear yourself singing through the TV. I didn't know most of the songs though. LOL

We bought the Disney Think Fast last week. If you are familiar with the PC game The D Show that was out a few years ago, it is NOT as good as that. But it is ok. Yes, there are questions that are incredibly easy mixed in. I am not sure why it asks you how much you know about Disney. That doesn't really seem to make a difference in the questions. But we enjoy it. I love anything dealing with Trivia and Disney. This is a good mix of questions if you have really younger kids- they will be able to answer some.

HTH!
