I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but Wiggles Tickets went on sale this morning for August 28-29 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia.

I figured there must be parents here of some Wiggles Fans!

Got them! I can't even tell 4 year old ds because I don't think he could stand waiting until the end of August. The Wiggles are his be all end all! I felt like I hit the jackpot (or at least got CRT)!

Sure wish these guys would come to Ohio!!! AAGGHH!!!

My DD would love to see them in person. If she ever saw them her eyes would look like the icon at the end of this sentence. LOL!!! :earseek:

Thanks so much for posting this. DD is a huge Wiggles fan and her birthday is at the end of August so this will be a great way for just the 3 of us to celebrate. We're going Sunday at 1 :teeth: .

Be sure to bring some roses for Dorothy! When they sign a song about her, they send a few people (including some of the Wiggles guys) into the audience to collect the roses for Dorothy. They get mobbed, but its a chance to get up close to them! Heck Id bring some rose myself to meet Anthony!:bounce:

We saw them last year in Houston. (I think my husband and I were as star struck as our DD!) If you go, be sure to bring your camera. We didn't because my DH said you can't bring them to concerts and were sorry. The Wiggles were posing for pictures and signing autographs. And like a previous post said, you can bring roses for Dorothy and one of them will come get them from you.

That's funny Alison about roses to meet Anthony. He was out sick during the concert we saw, and I must say I was very disappointed!

THey're great! I have some extra tickets for the Baltimore show. We were supposed to go down there and spend a few days at the harbor and see the Wiggles. Unfortunately, we can't. So if anyone couldn't get tickets for Philly, or lives in Baltimore and wants to see them, PM me or email me. The seats are really good!

So I am correct that these are the real Wiggles, right? We have tickets fro the show in Saint Louis in July and I just told my wife that I thought it was not look-a-likes, but the real deal she doubted me. Can someone prove one of us right (and the other one wrong) Thank You.

I don't know what you mean by PROVE one of you right. LOL. Tell her that some Wiggles expert on the disboards assured you that they are the REAL WIGGLES. Seriously though, they really are the four guys you see on TV every day. Enjoy the show!

They are the REAL deal!

We saw them last year in Reading, PA and they were FANTASTIC!! DH and I had a lot of fun at their concert too right along with DD!! The concert was hysterical with all these preschoolers dancing in the aisles and singing their favorite tunes! :) And Captain Feathersword was a real nut just like he is on the show!

We were so excited that they were stopping in Philly this year, much closer to our home than Reading! We have our tickets for August 29th at 1:00. Well, DH and DD have tickets along with friends of ours and their two boys - I'll be home with our new baby! :)

Definetly bring roses for Dorothy and a bone for Wags!

Can't wait to see ds and his see his face light up when they come on stage. There are 3 families of us going together. What's even better is 2 days after the Wiggles, we head off to Disney for vacation. Should be a great show!

We just saw them here in Boise in the beginning of April! (Still can't believe that they came here!) And yes, they were the real deal. We had front row seats, so I was pretty sure! LOL
It was a great show, entertaining for adults too! My son was only a year and a half, so he just stared the whole time! Better than falling asleep though!!
The only thing that I am disappointed is that they didnt do any interaction with the audience. They did on a grand scale, referring to posters people made for them and such, but no autographs, no pics at the end...I was hoping they would, and it sounds like from other posters that they have before, but oh well. Got plenty of pics of the concert though. Even collecting roses for Dorothy, they just sent the dancers to gather them. But it was a great show! I hope they come here again.

We had a Wiggles concert here in Mobile last summer. However, it was not the 4 Wiggles, it was Dorothy, Henry, Wags and Waggettes and Captain Feathersword and Pirates.

The original thought was that it was going to be the Wiggles. We had a conflict so we did not go and take DD (who BTW adores wiggles). However, my cousin took her DD and DN. She said that it was good, but a little let down because the wiggles did not appear. Not sure what happened.

I remember from the concert program last year that there were two shows touring. One was the Wiggles, and then there was another show which was called "The Dorothy the Dinosaur Show" which had only the other characters you mentioned.

I would love to take DD1 to their show- nothing else exists when DD watches their show!

Just a note about the lack of interaction a poster mentioned at the Wiggles show. I've seen them twice with my ds, once in 2002 and once in 2003. The show in 2002 was fabulous! We were in the front row, and most of the Wiggles spoke to me personally, and interacted with my son (He was dressed like Anthony). Dorothy herself collected the roses from him, and there were about 3 of us in the small theater who brought roses. Flash forward a year, after the Wiggles hit Playhouse Disney, and they are now as big here as they have been for 10 years in Australia. In 2003 they were in our state's largest venue, and there was no interaction aside from some of the ensemble collecting the HUNDREDS of roses for Dorothy. They are just too popular now to have shows as intimate as they once could. We decided not to go this year, because I new I'd be disappointed. Not dissapointed in the show, they always perform very well, but even 7-10 rows back is a long way for a preschooler - my son would enjoy watching a video as much. If you're going, you'll have so much fun! Check out the Wiggles board for more info. Don't forget roses, some Wiggles "Boardies" also like to bring chocolate roses for the guys. You can also dress up for the show, many mothers use printable iron-ons to make shirts to match their child's favorite Wiggle. You can also make a big sign together that the Wiggles will read aloud. It's always neat to put your child's name on it so they hear a Wiggle say their name. If you want any more tips, let me know!!

(Reformed Anthony groupie:rolleyes1

That must have been what happened. I guess the Dorothy the Dinosaur show was the show that came to Mobile. Although they were disappointed that they did not see the Wiggles themselves, they loved the show anyway.
