I don't know if this is helpful to anyone anymore, since the Wiggles are nearing the end of their concerts at MGM, but we went yesterday (Tues) on the first day. We arrived at the park around 8:00. We were allowed through one gate. We were told to follow staffers in yellow shirts back to LMA fastpass area. Well, we found the line...probably a couple hundred people ahead of us. There was no mayhem or anything. The line was long, but I guess I expected more. I went to the front of the line just to scope it out. They weren't giving out tickets yet, but they told me they were just about to....just making sure all was set up properly. This was about 8:15. They then let people proceed to the fastpass machines. By the time we got there (maybe 20, 25 minutes later at the most) they were still giving out 10:00 tickets. I am not sure if the fastpass machine wasn't working, but they were just basically handing out tickets that gave a specific gate as well as time. We asked for the 11:30 since this fit in our plans better and had no problem. We were all done and it was 8:45. No big deal. We proceeded to our 9:05 ressie at H&V character breakfast. We were done there at about 9:45. We walked by the Epic theater where they were seating for the 10:00 concert. We noticed that they let all the standby people in (it was about 7 minutes prior to showtime). My DH and I said, let's go and just went by as standby, even though we had 11:30 tickets. It was awesome. We sat in the 3rd row far left. There was nobody in front of us. We saw all the Wiggles (except for Greg who is sick) about 10 feet away. They were very interactive and made a point to look at you and smile esp. if they saw you had a camera. We had a GREAT time. DS loved it. I have several photos of him clapping with Murray clapping right at him, just feet away.
We decided to scrap the 11:30 show (we left last night due to hurricane warnings). We gave away our tickets to a few people in the stand-by line.
I don't know if this helps any of you out there, but it was not a big deal, but I imagine it probably got rougher as the day wore on.
Also, I noticed there was still room for more at the 10am show in the very back.
