Sorry if it’s a dumb question but is WiFi free at Disney world hotels? If not how much? Is it good wifi or spotty?

Free. Pretty good. I've stayed there quite a few times when I was still working and worked from my room.

I've watched television on my tablet (a show that wasn't on Disney hotel television) and had no problem with it.

Free. It's okay. Probably depends where in the resort you are and what you need it for. I've had better luck in my room using my regular data connection

WiFi is free and is pretty good, I’ve been able to stream video on a Roku at most of the resorts, the only one I had trouble streaming at was beach club, but we were in a room over the lobby with a strange configuration, and the hutch with the TV was in kind of a weird spot against a wall, so I think our location had more to do with it than anything else. we had no trouble with tablets and phones

It's fairly variable depending on the resort, where you are in the resort, how busy it is, etc. I've never had major problems with it, but some trips have been better than others.

Don't count on it. It does seem to be better in resorts than it is in the parks. The parks WiFi is very spotty.

Public Wifi always depends on how many others are using it and how far away you are from the router. You have no idea how many others are trying to use it at any given time. If you are attending an important work meeting, many Disney hotels also have business centers. Not sure if there is a charge for that or any better reception.

Honestly, it varies based on resort and location/proximity to wi-fi "routers" within each resort. Wife and I have enjoyed two "working" vacations where we worked during the day from our hotel room and then enjoyed the parks in the evenings. The first experience (AKL - Kidani) was great--no wi-fi issues at all; however, the second experience (CBR - pirate room) was not great--I was unable to connect to my work VPN from our room so finally went outside to the nearby snack QS location and was able to connect w/ no problem. So, you may have to be flexible ... ha!

Anybody have experience with the wifi at DIsney Springs? My son needs to log on for a quick meeting while we're there next week.
