Since you can't bring the paper navigator with you to the beach, does the ship WiFi network get extended to Castaway Cay. I am wondering if you can run the Navigator App to see what is going on during the day on the ship? (And this would mean iMessage too.)

Just got off the ship. WiFi did not work at the adult beach or most of the family beach for me. But the app had all the information loaded and cached so we could see everything that was going on that day.

No service what so ever at serenity bay. Didn’t check the rest of the island because we spent all our time at the adult beach.

Thanks. I didn’t even think of cached data in the app.

I had intermittent issues with it working. It was fine on the family beach, but service was spotty at Serenity Bay.
I guess I should clarify that it was working for me at the family beach. I did not try it at Serenity Bay.

And I'm realizing now that I characterized service at Serenity Bay as spotty rather than non-existent because I was able to use the portions of the app that had cached data, like the lists of activities and times. But things that actually needed wifi service, like my cruise folio, weren't working at all until I returned to the family beach area.
