Hello,

With the integration of the My Disney Experience over the next year, does anyone know if the parks have wifi to enable us foreign-folk to keep up to date with our plans without a horrific phone bill?

Yes we were there last oct and it was really good then and free :-)

We've been here for the last 2 weeks just leaving today and the wifi has been great for checking wait times, show times and opening hours :)

Wi fi was great round parks and hotel. My DD liked to check pins she had traded and update her pins on Pinpics.

So good to hear all these positive reports. We were there at the beginning of September last year, when they were only just beginning to roll out wifi in the parks and it was very hit or miss, at best. It sounds like they have sorted this out which is great news :cool1:

Park wifi was great last week. Hotel (AKL) was rubbish though - very spotty wifi!

Oooh free wifi! I was going to leave my phone at the hotel and not 'facebook the day' but it may be good for uploading pics etc.

It has improved and I am pleased they are working on it however both the parks and resorts can still be 'iffy'. Had connection issues in the parks a couple of times and at others found it slow. These were less than previous visits though.

OKW has improved massively on our last stay so they are obviously aware of the problem and are attempting to make it better which is positive!

No problem in MK today. Fine in POR rooms. But I am now at a quiet pool. Wi Fi works on one side of the pool by the smokers bin but not 15 foot away on the other side of the pool!!!!!

That's great to hear, thanks all! :thumbsup2
I'm not one to usually even look at my phone whilst on holiday, it comes with me to the parks for emergencies only. So it'll be quite strange to be actually using it to plan the day!

We have just used the Lines app extensively at DHD today. Really useful.

We also found there were black spots around the pools with WiFi last year. Go grab a pack of ciggies and a resort mug full of wine and connect :lmao:

I found it strange how it dipped in little zones too. It worked fine for us in our room and fine in the food court/main buildings but the little area outside the room .... nothing. The funny thing is our room was as close to the food court as you could get! I could have spat popcorn kernels from our door and probably hit the folk at the tables outside, yet that little patch was wifi-dead

I had a lot of trouble in Tomorrowland, but that's the only place I remember the wifi being bad.
