Wifi at Downtown Disney

My daughter and I decided to take a one day trip to Magic Kingdom on February 25th to celebrate her nursing degree! She is currently taking online classes for further education and she just realized she has a mandatory online class that evening on February 24th. We planned on dining and shopping at Downtown Disney that day. Does anyone have experience with Wifi at Downtown? She is contemplating taking her Ipad and ear buds for the one hour class. We hate to be stuck in our resort room. Help!

Yes there is supposed to be wifi, I did not use it when I was there in November as I used 3G on my phone so I do not know how fast it would be. Does her iPad have data capabilities? I know I just had a day were I needed my iPad and I was going somewhere that I did not know if they had wifi. I was able to purchase 250 MB for 24 hours for $5 through AT&T (my iPad carrier). It was more than enough for the day and I did not have the slow downs that my aunt did when we found out that the place we were had wifi.

I used the internet at DD last April. I actually did a speed test and the results were still in my phone. The speeds were 14.32Mbps download and 18.46Mbps upload. I think you'd be okay.
