Wife & I Celebrating Retirement & 65th Birthdays with Dec Trip

2016 is a big year for the wife and I. We both turn 65, we celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary and we both are retiring. What better way to celebrate all of these great events than to make a trip to WDW in December! And we're going all out. Here are the tentative plans...(driving from southeast Virginia)

Arriving Friday Dec 2 ~ 9am. Two nights at POFQ / 5 nights at Contemporary Resort

Fri Dec 2 - Animal Kingdom / Rivers of Light Show
Sat Dec 3 - Epcot / Boat from POFQ to Disney Springs for the evening
Sun Dec 4 - Move to CR / Tour CR / Tour the monorail resorts / Dinner at CA Grill
Mon Dec 5 - Magic Kingdom (looking forward to walking to MK)
Tue Dec 6 - Hollywood Studios / Fantasmic Pkg at Hollywood & Vine
Wed Dec 7 - Keys to the Kingdom Tour at MK / MK / Spirit of Aloha Luau at Poly
Thu Dec 8 - Park TBD / Disney Springs in evening or tour of Boardwalk
Fri Dec 9 - Relax at CR and begin trip back home

My wife and I are celebrating our 42nd anniversary there in 22 dyas. Don't forget to wear your birthday and anniversay pins. You will be surprised with all the attention and fun you get. No, you aren't cheating if you aren't there on the exact dates of the event. This is your celebration trip, celebrate it.

We just celebrated our 60th birthday, our 37th anniversary and my retirement from teaching for 38 years. We spent a week in DW and had a blast. We were down there on dh's birthday and he got a lot of attention. Enjoy.

We are looking forward to our 40th anniversary. We are planning on taking our sons and their wives to DL. We went there on our honeymoon.
