I have noticed a couple of people say that they bring a fan with them when they travel. I always sleep with one at home but never thought about bringing it with me. Can you get one from Mousekeeping? Do any resorts have them to borrow? This could be the answer to my sleeping issues while on vacation! ::yes::

All the Deluxe resorts have ceiling fans, but I am not sure of the other resorts.

The moderates have ceiling fans also. I don't think they have box fans that you can borrow. Several people have mentioned stopping at a store and buying one once they get to WDW.

If you need the fan more for the white noise, try recording your fan noise on to a tape or cd.

If you need it for the air circulation, how about buying a little desk fan and putting it on the night stand.

We have the same problem too, and usually we drive and just take the fan, but now we're flying, so I'll probably bring our small fan. It's small but pretty loud.

We can't sleep without them. I am packing two small, yet high velocity desk fans for our trip.I got them at Walmart for about 12.00 each.

The last time we flew, I was afraid to take up the extra suitcase room. This time I have a small pullman just for the fans :teeth:
Crazy I know, but at least I know that we will get a good nights rest.

have a fan or a noise machine to sleep. I usually bring my own. However, once I totally forgot. We were at the Contemporary and believe it or not we called the front desk and they brought us one. It wasn't a tiny one - a full sized fan.

I always sleep with a fan and have since I was little. It's my boo;) I know POR has ceiling fans. I also carry a tiny fan with me when I travel. It was about $5 at Walmart, it's got plastic "blades" and has a cord that separates from the fan so you can rap it up - I think there's room for batteries too. The base also folds up right next to the fan part, set up it's about the size of a cube tissue box. It's not too loud, but it does the trick in a pinch.

I sleep with a fan every night. I have purchased and mailed, matching fans to my sister's house up and down the east coast. The nieces/newphews know if Auntie is coming, out comes her fan. Feels good not to be out here by my 'fanned' self. Does POP Century have ceiling fans?

I always take a desk top fan on any vacation I go on :teeth: My DBF has also fallen for a desk top fan on vacation, and now I have to bring two desk fans..darn it :p

We use it for three reasons:

1. Noise
2. Need it blowing on me while I sleep
3. Since we are both smokers, we use it for air circulation.

I am a member of DTFA....Desk Top Fanner's Anonymous! :teeth:
