Widerness Lodge Views - what room type?

Which room type @ Wilderness Lodge has the best views and why? What should I request I when should I request it? We'll be there mid May 04. thank you.

I think the courtyard rooms have the best "guaranteed" view. They look out over the inner courtyard and pool. However, there are some woods view AND standard view rooms that have a view of the castle and fireworks. But, it is the luck of the draw if you get one.

As far as requests, make them when you make your reservations. If you have kids, request bunk beds, they love them. Or at least mine do.

For attractive views, the courtyard view rooms (specifically the rooms that overlook the main pool) are probably the best. However, I prefer a woods view room since we encountered a little bit of noise in the mornings coming from the people at the pool when we had a courtyard view.
