Wicked in Orlando 2/23 - 3/27/11

It's playing at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center.

This is a 15 - 20 minute drive from Disney.

You would need to travel I-4 from Disney to the Amelia Avenue exit.

It's a pretty easy drive.

Wow the convenience charge on each ticket is pretty hefty.

Havent bought tickets yet.

With the new house and money seeming to fly out the window, buying tickets to a show I've seen 3 times seems too extravagant.

That being said.....I'll probably breakdown and get them anyway.

I have seen it 2x on Broadway. It's a fabulous show!

I was a little disappointed in Wicked. I guess I had very high expectations due to the popularity of the show. Although I was pleasantly surprised with Mary Poppins.

Report is Tom Cruise is close to committing to the movie version of Rock of Ages. That would be great!

Just saw West Side Story there and it is an easy drive. I had never been down that way before. Kevin, you would probably know this-are there any places to go before or after the show like to grab dinner or a drink? We didn't see anything right around the Carr and weren't sure if there was anything a block or two away.

Aww man, I would love to take dds to see it. My mom bought tickets to see it twice (long story) and gave me and dh a set, I loved it and have been listening to the music a lot lately. They keep asking me questions about it....

Think I could convince dh to another trip to Dinsey

There really isnt anything within a block or two other than the Marriott Hotel.

You are better off getting in your car and driving somewhere.
