whydoidothatWHYdoidothatWHYDOIDOTHAT???

playing "devil's advocate" here.. right around the time of gay days, I see a lot of posts concerned.. not about the people, but about the crowds. a lot of people used to be concerned about the crowds at super soap days (sadly discontinued cause I never got to go:sad2:)
one year I posted a few threads about the mouse meets (all ears net) I knew they had dif. meets at dif parks and wanted to avoid those crowds.
and the nights of joy (christian bands) have been known to be a mite rowdy. and the cheer groups, and the band groups. but, with the exception of POP Warner (which HAS proven to be a big problem to other guests, consistently, mostly at the resorts), mostly none of these groups have caused problems.
but people plan their trips... then hear of a BIG group at the same time, and get concerned. and post queries.
not because of the "type" of group... most of these newbies just want to know about the crowds.. and I've seen many of these people get flamed, called homophobics... just for asking about the crowds during "gay days". IT IS a legitimate question. they want to know if there are any special events that might draw crowds to a specific park on certain days, just like I checked out which days the "mouse" people were to meet at which parks when we visited. (or wise people avoided MGM on super soap days....wish I could have been there:sad1:)
so, as the days approach, please bear in mind, many posters really just want to know about the events and crowds for that reason only. last year there was a woman who just really was asking for that reason, and a friend of a gay person just wouldn't "let it go".
crowd concerns during dif. events are legitimate questions. answer to the best of your abilites. I have been to WDW during the first week of June, and didnt notice anything, myself. now.. pop warner...:confused3

I'm not sure what your point is, because this thread isn't about those posts.

It isn't about people inquiring about crowd levels, it's about people stereotyping, and about people's prejudices.

No one here would be bothered at all by someone expressing concern about the crowds during Gay Days. :confused3
