Why ???

Guilty too. I have to admit that after our first trip in 2009 I wanted to post a trip report but after reading some of them I decided no way! Mine would not as funny or as cleverly written. I was a bit intimidated. Then we made reservations for 2010 and were crazy excited. Then hubster gets deployed. Had to cancel that one. We are heading back though in a couple of months. Can't wait! :yay:

I try to post all the time, but it's like hitting a good scratch off ticket or $50 on powerball. You just got to get more. Thinking those who are out here plan alot, and or do nothing once we get there. Or aleast that is the way I go. Just hang out. It's fun, get's in the mood and is disney free....

I starting to plan my next trip I'm between the 500 and 800 days out.

Well I am new but I am a member of another chat board and I do know what you mean. I will post and offer advice when I can or post to seek advice too. Other then that I just read what is out there so I can get more informed.

Somebody talking about me here. :lmao:

I too used to frequent the boards a LOT. But we were going to the Fort in 2006 and 2008. We're now pondering a January trip with the new camper and I've already started lurking back in more than usual.

I'm pretty much a lurker too. Usually by the time I read a post someone has already answered with the same advice I would give. i haven't even been lurking for a while but now that I have my new computer I am trying to catch up. And I would also love to do a trip report but as others have said...I don't think mine would be as entertaining as the ones I have read. And with that being said, I will be at FW Nov 30-Dec.19th:cool1:

Your kidding,, right ?? We would LOVE to have your trip reports !! :woohoo:

and congrats on your up coming trip , :thumbsup2.

Guess I could probably win an olympic gold medal in what you are describing since you can see that I actually joined in 1999 and have what you would probably consider an embarrassingly small number of posts to show for 12 years. :) In my case it really comes down to one thing: Time! When I finally do get on I usually only manage about half an hour or so, so it tends to be when we're planning one of our trips. (The next one of which I'm thrilled to say is coming up in December after a WAY too long break!)

I resemble those remarks.
1) I am sad after a trip and need to stay away until I can handle not being close to a return the Fort.
2) A lot of time, someone has answered the question with all or more knowledge than I have.
3) I have thought about writing TRs but my witty proses fail in comparison to the eloquent and rhythmic limericks of others. In other words, I don’t writ so good as them others people.
4) I will try and do better in the future.

Yep, that's me too. Our last trip was in '09 but I just booked a March 2012 visit. I actually started checking back in on this site last week to see what all was going on.

Not much of a poster anyway, more of a reader.

I declare guilt and stand to be charged. ;)

I have only been once, and I stumbled upon the Board when planning last year. I did post before our trip and then not again for months. We had a good trip, I journaled nightly so I could write a report later, but then life had some doozies waiting on us when we got back and I never had the time to come back on the board, let alone write my report.

Now that things have settled down again and I found time to come back, I figured I have waited too long to do a trip report for a trip almost a year ago. I'm planning a new trip, and so of course I came back. I'm finding my way around on the boards a little more, so I may be more likely to stick around this time. :thumbsup2

:ssst:But I do have to say, just between us, the people on this Camping board is by far the nicest. There are a lot of snarky people on some of the other ones. :rolleyes1

It is NEVER too late to post a trip report !:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
We'd LOVE to hear about it !:woohoo:

Before I ask, let me say that by no means do I intend for this to be rude or aimed at anyone or to make anyone mad. But this is a legitimate question that I truly wonder about.

I have this (sorta unhealthy) love for the Fort and Disney, hence I really enjoy posting and helping others when I can on these boards. I really enjoy sharing in others love of the Fort/Disney as well.

Heres my question,,
What/why do some folk post on these boards LIKE CRAZY when they intend on a Fort trip and then once the trip is over you never hear from them again or until they get ready to do another trip ??:confused3

(just curious)

I was wondering the same thing, Frank.:rotfl2:
