Why wouldn't they let me book Mama Melroses w/Fantasmic Package?

I think I'm confused.... I just got off the phone with Disney Dining... I wanted to book the Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner package even though we will be on the food plan...

The CM told me that the MM Fantasmic package is not covered under the dining plan?

Is this new? I hadn't heard this before?

That's wrong. MM fantasmic package is one TS per person. Call Back and book it with a CM who knows what's covered.

We just booked that last week. DH said they still asked for credit card because if we didn't cancel or show up they would charge us $10, but we could still use our credits.

I have booked MM Fantasmic Pkg in Oct. They charge $10 pp if you do not cancel 48 hrs ahead. Phone back.

Do you need to let them know you are on the dining plan when you book? It sounds like everyone here did. I had made all my PSs before I knew I was going to be on the dining plan. This wont cause a problem, will it?

Just a warning when we went in October, they had just started taking the dining plan as part of the package but they did neglect to say that there is a special limited menu in which to choose from. We were not happy with any of the choices and the food wasnt all that good. Dh who is not pickey was disappointed in his meal and wont ever go back - it was that bad

I booked MM FDP for 12/9 this morning. We are going to be on the DDP. We've also done it on past trips while on the DDP.

Do you remember what was excluded -- we have just voted to do this with our bunch in December -- but now you have me scared.

We went in late Jan and had a similar experience. We aren't at all picky but it was just terrible. Kids were unhappy and adults. Food was awful and service was slow and uninterested. Only restaurant at WDW we won't go back to.
