Why would the search feature show only 2 posts?

I was searching by user for her past posts. The post count under her name is 37, but the search function only shows 2 posts by her. What happened to the other 35?

It is probably only showing posts from the last year. Check the Search Settings and there is a way to change it to see all posts.
