Why won't Obama release his real birth certificate or his college transcripts? What is the big secret?

Yes, we do have a right to know. Most of us here had to release this information to get our jobs so someone who wants to be the leader of our country certainly should.

Why the secrecy? If he has nothing to hide, publicly release this information. If he DOES have something to hide...

I watched the whole video. I have a couple of troubling thoughts...not so much about his citizenship...clearly his parents are both nuts and screwed him over royally when he was a child...but my concern is that this seems to be another cover up on his part. I just wonder what else is being pushed under the covers that will come out later. Obama is not exactly forthcoming when it comes to information about himself.

We still don't know him and he's going to most likely be our President. I am troubled.

Why does it matter for so many of our jobs but not for a POTUS candidate? Obviously, in the case of his birth certificate, it REALLY matters!

I agree with the importance of this information. Who has not had to supply their college transcript(s) for a job? Senator McCain's information is available (although he probably does not relish in his academic underachievement).

Also, since I have a child currently applying to law school, I would also like to see his LSAT score.

I'm not falling for any rumors that he isn't an American citizen, but I am kind of surprised that he doesn't just produce the birth certificate and move on. What's the big deal? I had to produce a birth certificate to join the military, to get a security clearance, to get a driver's license. Has he really never had to do any of that? So why not just release it?

All he has to do is show the info ...seems to me it was not a hateful video just someone asking questions about his birth certificate....

If he has it show it....plain and simple......after all how many times did he go after Hillary and how many times did the OS say that Hillary needed to release her tax report....remember that...the OS sure made a HUGE deal about that.

so again if he has nothing to hide than bring it forth......and if he cant than this will just add to all his other wonderful stuff that is turned a blinds eye to.

Gotta a question....Why do you think the link is hateful? This is a major deal if the lawyer is correct!! Why doesnt Obama just release this info.
I am not concerned about his college GPA. I am sure he has the degree/s and really who cares about that...he got through the coursework and graduated....this is assuming that the question isn't whether he actually graduated but what was his GPA.
Now for the citizenship....I thought this was proven prior, at least I hope it was. As the video said....the transcripts might state what his claim of citizenship was while he was in college.
I am concened and do sincerely feel that he should be more forthcoming with the questions that follow him. I think his associations are very much a concern for all of us.

Exactly my point! He just needs to release this information and get it over with.

I've had my son's BC out twice in the last month. Hockey registration and his driving permit. My transcripts have been handed over for my last four jobs!

Probably for the same reason Palin refuses to release her college transcripts. The university won't even confirm she actually graduated, citing privacy rules.

As for Obama's birth certificate, he released his certificate of live birth from the state of Hawaii (the official birth certificate) last year.

Huh?? This is about as relevant as the fact that I had a baked apple with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Why would any one think Obama's LSAT score relevant? Do you dispute that he went to Harvard Law School?
