Why won't MDE let me choose character meet and greets?

I'm trying to make my FP+ reservations and it will show me either Cinderalla and Rapunel, or Anna and Elsa as being available, but it will NOT give me a green light or let me choose them! What on earth am I doing wrong?!?!

First, I will say I was just having major issues on the MDE site on my home computer. When I went in to book fast passes myself, next to my name it said "oops" and kept telling me it couldn't complete my request due to a system failure. So that could be the issue, the site being jerky.

Also, are you *positive* they are available and not 'greyed out'? You can still see them in the listing if they are standby only. You should be able to click the circle next to them if they are available. If you can and then the site won't proceed, I'd say it's a very unfortunate system failure. Maybe back out and go back into the site?

When I go into MDE to change FP+ (both on comp and app) it doesn't show attractions that no longer have FP+ available. It's not grayed out, it's just not even visible. Do they only show up as grayed out when you first try to select FP+s, and not during changes? I do remember seeing Anna & Elsa FP+ options when I first started selecting FP+s at 60 days out, but I've never seen even a grayed out option again since.

Try putting in one or two at a time. When I put 6 in they were gray but not if I broke it up to say 3 and 3 or 4 and 2, etc. also I could do it on my computer MDE version they don't always appear on the app.

I suppose they could've all been distributed but I was making my selections at 12:00 am on my booking day. (Literally the moment my booking day opened). I have to admit that the whole process was extremely irritating! NOT a fan at all.

Forgot to add that I tried even booking 1 person at a time ( For Anna and Elsa) and it wouldn't even let me do that.

Don't forget, that Disney Hotel guests can book 60 days in advance for the length of their stay. So on your first booking day everything could be distributed on several prevoius days :-( (I'm staying for 13 days and was able to book Anna and Elsa only for the 7th day of my trip, for the previous dates all FP were unavailable).

Don't forget, that Disney Hotel guests can book 60 days in advance for the length of their stay. So on your first booking day everything could be distributed on several prevoius days :-( (I'm staying for 13 days and was able to book Anna and Elsa only for the 7th day of my trip, for the previous dates all FP were unavailable).

I posted a similar problem of not even being offered A&E when I knew my time had opened up and was given great advice not to use the app but rather to click on FP+ at the bottom of Disneyworld.com and sign in there to pick FP, if you've not already, try that or vice versa if you're using the website, try the app

They aren't saying they were all booked within 10 seconds. What they are saying is that if you are trying to book for one of the early days of your trip, all the guests that are checking in a few days ahead of you and could book the 180 + 10 may have booked the FP a few days ago, does that make sense?

I got online the day my window opened. I didn't get any until the last two days of our stay. I booked one for the last day which would have been 67 days from the date I booked because your window opens on the first day of your trip.

I would definitely keep trying. After a few days of trying, I found a pair that opened up on our first day. People are changing things all the time.

You are so welcome and I sent this.......to the person who helped me. So, I know exactly how you feel. Made me wonder what else I was missing booking with mde so I booked the rest online and will go online when 7D opens up FP for our June trip. Oh, and I see you'll be arriving the same day as us...have a GREAT trip!
