Probably end up on the Today Show with Meredith asking "Why".
$500.00 to have your 15 minutes of fame? Not too bad of an investment.
This. He made the local news tonight. Said he wanted to be the first person to do that. The news reported that he does work and paid for the Ipads with his own money.
Soooo......he did get what he wanted and he's getting his 15 minutes now.
Aside from destroying it, really, when you think about it, it's not any different than a woman spending that kind of money (and more) on a wedding dress that she'll wear once. Or a wedding cake. Or skydiving.
He basically spent the money on an experience and as long as it was his money that he earned, I see no harm in it.
Though I do agree, had it been my money, I'd have spent it on something else.

Why? He worked for his money, he earned it and he can do what he pleases with it. You are free to give any money you earn to charity instead of spending it, but why be angry when someone else choose not to.
I just gave my opinion on the topic of this thread not on the opinion of others.
This was on TV a few weeks back, Daniel Tosh of Tosh.0 did this on his tv show. Hit it with a golf club. So instead of being first, he/they are nothing but copycats.
