Why was the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon low on water?

There was only a few hiccups during our trip last week and one was the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon. It was about a foot low of water and it was very noticeable. So much that we got in and got back out at the first exit. Was in it for about eight minutes. I just wonder why it was so low? We were in it back in June 2018 and it was awesome. So much fun, relaxing and just the best.

I wonder if it was like maintenance or something? Or what? Why would it be so low of water you think? You could see the line where the water should have been and was just curious as to why it wasn't as full this time? We will give it a try again the next time we visit because we do love the ride.

We were there the last week of Feb and I noticed too that the water level was low. It makes it a lot less enjoyable.

Very less enjoyable. Not sure why it was that low. I am wanting to think maybe a maintenance issue and not a cost cutting measure? But it ruined it for us.

I am going to just hold out hope that perhaps next year it will be back to the normal levels. We will see. Even if its not, we will still enjoy Typhoon Lagoon.
