Why was the last Club 33 thread nuked?

Someone posted the question "How do I get a reservation?" inquiring into the process and it was NOT a solicitation and it got nuked. Why did the MODS nuke it?...can we not even discuss Club 33 reservations and the process anymore?

I was just told that I violated the rule I had no idea was in effect. I received the answers I was looking for.

It asked someone to get them in for a birthday drink. Also, it's a private club. I'm sure the members know the reservation process.

Just adding to Webmaster Jackie's note...

In prior years we were getting multiple requests a week asking for members to get people in, including people coming to our boards for the first time. We made a decision to not allow these requests, and what may begin as discussions asking how one goes about it, many turn into asking members here to get them in, so we just stop them right away.

I'm going to go ahead and close this thread.
