Do you people have to take out my entire siggie?!?!?!?!?! do you have ANY idea how long that took me?!?!?!?!?!?!

You could at least warn me, and let me copy and remember what was in it!!! A LOT of that was important stuff that I can't remember!!!

I thought that it WAS WITHIN GUIDELINES!!!!!! I don't know how that crap works...and the only problem was my pics, right?!?! so why not just delete them?!?!?!?!

Sorry, and I'm probably gonna be flamed, deleted, whatever, but at least someone will hear me!!!!!!

Sorry that happened to you. I am of no help, can't figure those things out, but maybe you could check with the other forum where they have people who knows how to do the siggies and such. Can't remember what the forum was called at the moment, but I think it has something to do with technical...

I'm sorry that happened. It would upset me too if I'd put a lot of hard work into something as you apparently did.

If I were you (if you decide to rework your signature or make a new one), I'd save it somewhere and then post it on the Tech Board and get an official A-OK on it. Of course, you've probably already thought of this. I'm sorry if my post sounds patronizing. Please accept that that is not my intent.

FWIW, someone has heard you. Again, I'm sorry 'bout the loss of your signature.

it just upsets me...that siggie was full of memories, lol.....it actually meant a lot to me, and was my way of expressing myself and creativity.

I remember your sig...it was a smidge big ...but it doesn't seem fair to just delete all that text you took time to collect. Hopefully there's a way to get it back?

(I understand it's not necessarily to re-insert in your sig but to just HAVE. I used to have a MeadTrapperkeeper binder I'd scribble all my most profound movie quotes on once, too...and if I'd lost it....oh! So I really can empathize.).

If you don't understand the guidelines, then ask on the technical support board. The many helpful people there will be more than happy to help explain the guidelines for you.

But, I do believe that the tech folks have had to help you with your signature MANY times in the past when you've inserted clip art that is much too big. You know what the guidelines are.

Once again, in a nutshell, ALL of your clipart must total less than 35 K. Look at the properties for each piece of clipart in your signature and add the sizes together.

absolutely NO warning....once before it was huge, but i got a warning from a very nice person, MaryJo....she has always been very friendly, and i appreciated the warning and changed it immediately.

i am waiting on a reply to see if there is or isn't a way to get it all back, but so far, no luck. I REALLY hope there is!!!

and lol, i have a binder FULL of notes from friends, boyfriends, etc. and if i EVER lose it, i will probably cry...i have things in there from 2nd grade!!!

no worries, i will next time.

i don't remember MANY times, i must have a bad memory...sorry. but i do remember being told that it was too big, and i would fix it, or work until it fit. but like i said, at least then i got a warning. this time they completely erased it for good....and like i said before, it had genuine memories....and all of those colors took me forever!!!!!!!!

I know what that's like (not with an Internet signature, but other things). And it can be very hard to recreate some kinds of things - impossible, even. Re-creations just don't come out quite the same as the original in my experience. {{Hugs}}

Yep, I can't remember all of it...so it is in this case, impossible

Sorry that is gone, Ashton. I always smile when I saw your creative signature. It was YOU. And I do not think there is a way to ge t it back, when they delete it, it is gone. An FYI, I do have mine copied to Word.
