Why the Heck Did They Get Rid of ___?!

I wish I could have gone on Adventure Thru Inner Space as an adult. I probably only rode it once as a kid and I totally bought it - I thought we really got shrunken down! I would have liked to take my granddaughter on that ride. :)

Electric Light Parade and Peoplemover are mine. I have the parade song as my ringtone. Peoplemover was awesome. I still don't get why it was shut down. I see the tracks just sitting there now and it makes me sad.
You sound like me. My MIL gave my son (6 yrs) a cd of classic Disneyland tunes. He happily sings along with "IASW" and the Pirates song, the haunted mansion song, etc. but when the parade song comes on, he always asks "What is this song, mama??"

I'm another on who misses the Country Bear Jamboree, the People Mover, and Court of Angels. But one more that I miss are the bands that used to play at the Tomorrowland Terrace Bandshell where they now have the Jedi Training Academy. Yes I do enjoy watching the kids but I remember being able to dance there at night.

YES!!! I LOVED THAT RIDE!!!! It really did feel like you were shrinking!! Such great memories!!

As mentioned, the fest of fools was my families all time favorite. Apparently I was 3 when they stopped the show(born in 96) haha. But for some reason I do remember the end of this show. I would love the confetti/tissue papers they would blow Into the air. Definitely a family favorite. Also the Woodys Roundup show in the Golden Horseshoe. That was a great show

Am I a horrible person for not liking Pooh? There is something about him that annoys me.

I miss the peoplemovers and the sky tram thing too. I remember loving the original submarine ride when I was a kid, although I bet if I experienced it as an adult, I might feel different, as I dread having to go on the Nemo ride these days, but the kids love it.

Well Holly, if your bad then so am I :rolleyes2
I don't get a whole lot out of any of the rides that put you in a little car and jerk you around for 90 seconds while they show you painted plywood cutouts.
Oh I go on them and appreciate the art that went into them but they're far from my favorites.

Not sure if this would fit in here since all of these posts have been about attractions and parades and such, but I really wish they would bring back the crème brule French toast at Goofy's kitchen!! It was amazing and really the one special breakfast treat we looked forward to when visiting the DLR! Does anyone know why they discontinued it?:confused3

You guys had me googling for some of these... took me back! I have to agree with the Skyway and Peoplemover.

I already knew I was probably the only one, but I really miss the Beach Boys music played in different ways in DCA. My husband and I went there for our honeymoon and it brings back so many memories, but the next time we went they'd already started to change. I get the change, I embrace it (because I adore carsland) but I do miss the way DCA was a little too.

I know there are reasons why they got rid of them, but I always loved the skyway and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea; the finding Nemo version just isn't the same.
