Why The Crappy Times on SW from MKE?

Was going to check tickets for our Feb. trip and noticed that SW only has one non-stop flight from and to Milwaukee now, and they are at crappy times. I don't want to arrive at MCO at 10 PM. What happened to SW out of MKE, they used to have a non-stop morning flight also.

Yea, with the Airtran merger SW has started chopping down flights. Airtran does have some good NS flights (0730 departure down, 1830 departure back to MKE) for the same price as SW right now ($135 per person, each way). Not sure if Airtran will offer any cheaper prices, I did book our upcoming trip about 6 months ago for $89 each way.

I'm in the same boat at you lugnut33. After paying right around $200 for this past February, I'm not loving the AirTran flight costs right now, but don't care for those SW times AT ALL.

I've never found a SW time that I liked for MKE to MCO since Southwest got to the MKE market. I always book Airtran.

SWA started chopping non-stop flights way before they aquired Airtran. We used to have 2 or 3 a day from Phoenix to Orlando. Now we only have one and the times aren't so great on that one. But, we make do and have a flight with one stop, no plane change on our upcoming trip.

Totally agree with all of you. Except, all of the sudden in the middle of the summer SW changed their flight times for nonstop to OB 7:30am and inbound 4:00pm. We jumped on those for Oct. I have been watching times for SB and the times are awful right now. We will have to wait and see when they both release times for our SB dates and see what happens.:confused3

I agree not happy with the flying times out of Chicago Midway 3/31 a saturday of course but very happy with the times going home!!
