Why is it that I can make a reservation for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults and 1 child, but not 4 adults at the same restaurant?

I have ran into this twice now. :confused3

It is apparently to do with the "template system" that the restaurants use to book the ADRs. The only way out of this is to call and speak to someone. If you don't get it like that, explain to the CM what happened online. It could be to do with the configuration of the tables in that particular restaurant in this instance, but there are many mysteries surrounding the ADR system.

No Idea. That is very odd.

I've seen some strange things.
Tables for 2 but not 1 (if you have a table for 2 you have a table for 1).
Tables for 4 not 3 (same issue if you have a table for 4 you have a table for 3).

What restaurant was this?

This is one of the current mysteries of the ADR system and more than likely does have to do with templates.

As a solo traveler, often find no availibility for party of 1 but put in 2 and voila!:thumbsup2

This is starting to become common knowledge, just try a larger number and see if you get what you want. The ADR's will eventually become a mess if Disney doesn't address this soon.
